Haven’t cruised in 5+ years on DCL - Castaway Club status reset?

I had Gold Member status prior but I haven’t cruised in over 5+ years with Disney. From what I’ve read that means my Castaway Club level has been reset - is this correct?

Technically, yes. That's what the membership requirements state. That said, I've not read of anyone who has actually lost their status - yet.

There have been several people posting that they still retained their status years later.

I haven't sailed for over 6 years (need to change that) and I have maintained my status. I got an email from DCL not too long ago and it referred to my CC status. Also shows in MDE.

Did you try just logging into the Castaway Club on the DCL website?

Did you change your name since you first sailed? I had to change my last name with DCL/Castaway Club for the accounts to connect.

We sadly haven't sailed since 2017, but have a cruise booked for next February. I am platinum and was afraid of my status was lost, but all communications and the reservation make reference to my status.
