Hello My Friends - Lulubelle & DD are back!

We had a really nice time on the cruise. Florida was hot and humid, but we still rocked it.

My favorite part was the Jet Ski excursion on Castaway Cay. The water was so clear and warm and Breezy took us for quite a joy ride! (she drove)

Hope I didn't miss too much. I missed the boards and all of you terribly.

Oh no this is my specialty! I bring them to any function I go to. I knew I loved Cheryl! Last time we took oranges and cut them in half, scooped them out and filled them with peach and melon jello. After they set up we cut them into orange wedges they were very good and fun!

Yes, the jello shots were a big hit last year.
And since you are trying to plan a budget you won't stick to...(welcome to my world ), the "Meet & Greet" last year was $10 per guest. There was pizza, veggie tray, chips, alcohol, soft drinks and lots of decorations - it was a party after all
And we each brought a bag of our favorite candy and had a candy bar for all. Everything was a huge hit and there was tons left over. I remember seeing all the bottles and candy in someone's room. They were trying to pawn it off on others, it was funny. I don't know what the committee has planned for this year, but I am excited to find out.

Today my little chihuahua had a really bad seizure.. I was here with my grandchildren so my husband came and took little dog to the Vet. He did blood and checked her out, gave her a shot to help her relax from the seizure.. He said that it's known for chihuahua's to get eplipesy at around 2 or 3 years. So we will see if she needs to go on medicine. It was a really bad experience, I thought she was dying in my hands.

I wonder what they are going to do this year?

I got 2 Big Boxes in the Mail from Disney today... and that means............ drum roll Pleassssssssssssssssssssssse.... all the prizes for the scavenger hunt are here!!! Next week some of the quests and questions are going to be tested. So Your scavenger hunt crew is WoRkIn', BaBeY.

Yes, Tina.. it was very disheartening as the medicine she will go on has adverse effects on her liver, at least that is what the Vet said.

I'm just really drained and sad.

Dawn, that is scary! My sister has a chihuahua and she is hypoglycemic, so she used to have seizures a lot. Now she has to eat every four hours to keep her blood sugar level. Scary stuff!

Ok, so I am going to try to implement a new rule on another board ==what do you think?

You cannot complain about the same thing (or a variation thereof) more than five times unless you either #1 come up with a solution to your problem, or #2take active steps to take the reasonable advice that someone else on the board gives you. So if you CONSTANTLY complain about the same thing DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY and people give you lots of advice that you ADMIT is reasonable and practical and then you do NOTHING you are prohibited from posting that same vent/complaint until you do.

What dya guys think about that? (and most of you know what I'm talking about)

So Ms. Bella was harassing a friend of mine yesterday while we were out by the pool (the kids and a couple of adults were in the pool). My friend just casually grabbed Bella and dumped her in the pool (and she swam so someone else showed her where the steps were so she could get out).

Of course, Ms. Bella then decides that the PERFECT thing to do to dry off is to dig a hole and roll in it. This was the result:

THEN someone opened the patio door and she managed to slip in (before she had dried) and proceeded to "dry" on the carpet and white couches in my living room!!!!!!

Needless to say--she was in the proverbial dog house yesterday!

Hey girls!!

My Mom is feeling so much better. Thank you for all the well wishes. She realized that place wasn't worth the stress. She's taking the time now to do stuff around the house she never had time to, while still applying for jobs. She was so stressed from work for the past months, I think this is a blessing in disguise.

Welcome back Linda and Baareezy! Sounds like you had a fantastic trip!

Dawn, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how scary that is. I have a 3 year old chihuahua. Our pug has epilepsy though. He takes medication twice a day and is fine now. He's 6. What happens when he has a seizure is his back legs give out and he gets this crazy "I'm dying" look on his face. It took us awhile to figure out he was seizing because he wasn't shaking or anything. I hope everything is okay with her.

Cheryl, oh my gosh Bella!! What a naughty puppy! She looks so innocent in that picture. I hope you can clean everything!
