Girls Only, Please :]

I started wearing a padded bra at age 11. I think. I usually get alll my bras at Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, or Target. [:

I'm 18 and I have been wearing a bra since I was about 11 or 12. I like the shaped underwire ones because I'm on the smaller side and they give me a better look under tee shirts and stuff. You have to get the right size, usually your first bra will be an A-cup and the number in front is the measurement around your ribcage.

You just have to commit to wearing one every day and eventually you won't even notice you have one on if you find the right size and style for you! :thumbsup2

Right now I buy most of my bras at Mervyns because I love Maidenform bras. But I also like the tee shirt bra from Victoria's Secret. At your age I wouldn't spend more than like $20 on a bra because you'll likely grow out of it soon anyway. Plus you wash and replace them a lot and chances are that no one will see them anyway.
American Eagle aerie has a lot of bra choices now and they are much cheaper than Victoria's Secret, and will probably have a lot more of your size.

Hope I was of help!

I started wearing an under wire cup bra in like 6th grade I think.

I hate shopping for bras. Its so hard to find a comfortable 34D.

I think around 6th grade ?

Its really hard for me to find bra's now though, me and my sister are both DD's.
Big chest's run on both sides of my family.
Its quite annoying.
-.-

ee i think i started wearing an actual like cup bra in the summer before 8th grade...

I didn't really need one but it was embarrissing changing in pe without one...

My little sister got her first cup one in 5th grade though...

Sooo its different for everyone.

The underwire is uncomfy but Targets seem to be comfy.

Hiya.

When I needed one and that was when I was around 11/12. Do NOT estimate your bra size, please, please, please get fitted. That is why most people's bras are uncomfortable because they have the wrong size..

I don't know where they do bra-sizings ( or if they call them anything different) in USA, but in Britain they do them in Marks and Spencers, LaSenza and trying to think of whereelse, but can't. But definately there.

If you feel like you need one, get one. You'll know when you start needing more support.

They do sizings at any store that focuses on bras and nightwear.
They might to it at department stores too... I'm not sure, it depends on the store I guess...

Mm, I don't reccommend sizing yourself either...
It doesn't work well xD
I tried it once and I got like 32 AA, and I'm definitely NOT that size.

I was a 30 A by the time I was 10. So much fun.

I like padded bras, but not like, push-up padded. Just a little padding. It does get hard for me to find bras [yay being another 34 C] & I need to go shopping, because most of my bras are still a 34 B and uncomfortable.

Ugh, same.
It was not fun in grade 4 and 5 being 'developed'.
I got a lot of rude comments from guys.
And I had issues with going bra shopping.
Most people I know didn't even start wearing bras until grade 8.

I started wearing a padded bra in the 8th grade I think. I didn't start wearing an underwire one until the 10th grade because I found them annoying.

Around the house I don't wear an underwire bra..just a sports bra. I'm a 36C so I guess that isn't the best idea but I can't stand laying around with an underwire.

I started wearing a bra in like 5th grade but I didn't really need it. It was more for my own personal comfort.

Then in 6th grade I actually started to need one so I got a real one. I never wanted or needed a padded bra I've got enough as it is!

I started wearing a cup bra in grade 7. But in grade 6 I started wearing a trainer bra, you know, those comfy ones?

i dont know which is harder shopping for a bigger bra size or a smaller one. im a 32A and i doubt ill grow much more.. but it seems like everywhere i go the only A's they have are 34's. it gets kinda annoying but when i find one i like i buy 2-3 of them :)

Exactly!
I never ever find good ones, and when I do I buy five of them.
But.. I always find ones that fit perfectly and everything, but they have a bow or flower!
I really don't need it looking like I have a third nipple though my shirt...

I once had a bra like that that my mom bought me. I cut off the bow.;)
I find comfortable bras at Aerie/American Eagle, but they can be pretty expensive, and I started wearing a cup bra when I was 12.

Unfortunately, most bras are expensive. It sucks.

I've tried that, but then it was all frayed and just messed up.

I think I started wearing a cup bra in 7th or 6th grade.
I started wearing trainer ones in maybe 5th?

I really needa get myself sized.
I always find bras that fit perfectly, but then the band is too tight, or vice versa.
