Hope Matt is feeling better today!

Refresher course for Chris. lol

When texting fellow travellers you text a "Marco" if you want to either just touch base or find out where they are. *Remember WDW is 4 parks and some of us would separate for hours or have later starts and never all at the same hotel.

Responses can be: "polo" or "polo, with your location". It depends on what the marco was. This can be figured out by how long you've been separated or if we are waiting for you to join us. ie..You're late for the ADR and Beth is wondering where your butt is. :)

"Earl" is an easy one. We happened to be at Earl of Sandwich, and we properly replied with our location and dropped the polo part. We just took that to the extreme and started using it for the generic polo response if you were just playing and not really wanting to find the other person.

"Phil" came from a CM with a very thick accent and was trying to say FILM in the parking lot of the Studios. Also became a possible response for a generic polo response.

***Polo=Earl=Phil are all short 4 character answers and well, we're just silly that way.

These are not the standard rules. These are just our rules. Please feel free to make your own. As long as your texting is unlimited, it's a fun way to stay in touch and make learning to text fun too.

sigh....makes me miss my WDW girls!! Time to plan a trip!!!
Nice explanation too :)

Maybe I'll just text, "hell butt" which means, "Where the hell are you and why isn't your butt here where it should be?"
:thumbsup2

But it looks like maybe I'd better get those rain boots too!! Saturday calls for showers.

LOL...that is funny!!! Dagny would LOVE that

Hey Deb, are you arriving at around the same time Heather, Becci and I, between 10:30 and 11am on Thursday, at Orange County?

We are going to be matching in our Target rainboots. I have a pink Tink rain jacket that's super thin, so I'm assuming you wear it over something warm.

:scared1:
I've never been when DCA is open that late. What does that mean??? Are they expecting humungous crowds????

I'll be seen with you if you don't mind being seen with me and my big butt!
I don't have rain boots. Or slickers. I have Ziploc baggies. Maybe I should bring those. lol

Yes they probably are because
a) Captain EO opened today
B) cheer competition this upcoming weekend.

I guess buying rainboots would be a wise investment but seriously $25! I got leather high tops from Punk Rose at TJ Maxx for less than $20. I might wear those but they aren't very supportive. I did wear them when I went a couple weeks ago and met up with Amy Sue. I didn't slip or get wet.

You see, when I went in January with my sisters I slipped going into Space Mountain and bruised up my leg pretty badly. I hate falling and I always worry about that when it rains.

hmmm, I'm tempted.
I'll see if Walmart has any first for a cheaper price if not I guess I could bite the bullet and get some (the ones with blue whales would match my pjs!)...if rain is still forecasted.

For those of you bringing rain boots...are they comfy? I mean how do your feet feel after walking around in them all day? I'm not sure if I should go ahead and buy some or just wear my Crocs. :confused3

That's my concern, too.
If they aren't very supportive ( I always wear my Roadrunner tennis shoes) then I'll just stick with my leather high tops.

Ohhhh, let's hope it means they are doing testing on WOC and we get to see it!

Hmmm. Let's see--Chris gets a one-bedroom villa overlooking DCA and we can see WOC from her balcony! Whoo hoo!!!!

I was wondering the same thing. They'll keep me dry, but will they be comfy? :confused3 Saturday, the day it's supposed to rain, is a looooong day with lots of running around. I don't want to end up with blisters......

Guess I'll drive down to Target and check them out, try them on and decide then.

so they Are keepin him overnight for observation. may just b an infection. Blood work came back good.
I hope he's okay and home soon. I'm sure you are worried sick.

I'll request that view - and you're all invited !!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: Whooo hoo!

I found mine at K-Mart ($25), I bought them about a half size large so I can wear thick socks and use my arch supports in them.

We are leaving the tags on them and will return them if we don't wear them.

Yes, they were $24.99 at Target. They had three prints to choose from. Of course if it does rain, they will earn their cost in us having dry feet.:goodvibes
:

Yeah, I did the same thing a few days ago. I also have the dots! Warning - these emit an odor and have to be aired out in your garage. Am also leaving tags on.

I do not want to buy rain boots. So I might go to our Tractor Supply store and buy those slickers for shoes. How funny is that? Will you still want to be seen with me, if I have to wear them?

Yes, because we love you. :cutie:

If I missed anybody, let me know. If anybody needs to change days, let me know too.

I wouldn't wear Crocs when it's raining. I made that mistake once and slid across the pavement and landed on my butt. There are some areas that are very slippery and crocs have no traction. :sad2:

 Glad the bloodwork came back good! :thumbsup2 I'm sure its hard to have him in the hospital though.:sad2:

Is WOC showing already? :confused3

I don't know what I'm going to wear (as far as shoes) on Saturday if it's raining. Probably my old boots, which are ugg look alikes. They are stained and dirty and have been worn in the rain many times. But they aren't as comfortable as my crocs or uggs. I do have to wear socks with my crocs though, or I get blisters. I know - ugly!:scared1:

Aaaahhh! I am so not ready yet! I've been too busy with homeschooling and life to get ready and tonight I have AWANA. I won't get home until after 9 pm! Would somebody do me a huge favor and just stop time for about 24 hours. I NEED MORE TIME!!

Edited to add: I now have in my possession all the copies of the scavy hunt. I'll be expecting my PM box to fill up with bribes soon (which won't take much since I think my PM box is just about full) Oh, the power!! Muuuwaahahaha!!

Stacie- I arrive at 11:25AM

Hmmm, wonder if you'll be early, or we'll be a little late. Heather and I get in at 10:35, I think Becci gets in at 10:50 or so...

Did you do a pre-paid reservation with SuperShuttle?

Hmmm. Let's see--Chris gets a one-bedroom villa overlooking DCA and we can see WOC from her balcony! Whoo hoo!!!!

I'm so THERE. Need to go through my wine cabinet tonight to see what to bring.

Groovy! (I was tired of saying awesome and cool) Chris, maybe you should charge admission!!
