On Sunday, it says drinks at Cove Bar or Napa Lounge, but I'll be glad to volunteer my 1 bedroom villa for our get together. It has a full kitchen (including fridge, freezer and maybe even a blender, not sure) Even a stove so Jill can make Jiffy Pop! That will also give anyone who is interested an opportunity to see the DVC Grand Calif. Villas and the drinks & munchies will be cheaper too.

Sounds fun!!

I just wanted to tell everyone to have a safe trip and have a blast. I'll be thinking of you.

Bree called me at lunch today, she is packing. We bought cute polka-dot rain boots from Target on Sunday just in case it rains. I will pack tonight and then tomorrow we will be on final countdown!

Oh and Capri, don't feel bad about the incident last year - Breezy was the one who sat with her for an hour and really tried to "make her feel welcome".

Breezy is too nice of a girl, you should be proud.

I'm torn whether to buy rain boots or not. They are at Target for $25 but really $25 for rubber boots?! I don't know if it's worth it.

Yes, they were $24.99 at Target. They had three prints to choose from. Of course if it does rain, they will earn their cost in us having dry feet.

Well apparently the correct sequence is:

Marco
Polo
Earl
Phil

Not quite sure how that evolved, but I much prefer a "Polo" and location report, as that is the point of a "Marco". Maybe Shelley or Dagny can pop on this thread and explain the nuances of the 'marco - polo' texting game.

Refresher course for Chris. lol

When texting fellow travellers you text a "Marco" if you want to either just touch base or find out where they are. *Remember WDW is 4 parks and some of us would separate for hours or have later starts and never all at the same hotel.

Responses can be: "polo" or "polo, with your location". It depends on what the marco was. This can be figured out by how long you've been separated or if we are waiting for you to join us. ie..You're late for the ADR and Beth is wondering where your butt is.

"Earl" is an easy one. We happened to be at Earl of Sandwich, and we properly replied with our location and dropped the polo part. We just took that to the extreme and started using it for the generic polo response if you were just playing and not really wanting to find the other person.

"Phil" came from a CM with a very thick accent and was trying to say FILM in the parking lot of the Studios. Also became a possible response for a generic polo response.

***Polo=Earl=Phil are all short 4 character answers and well, we're just silly that way.

These are not the standard rules. These are just our rules. Please feel free to make your own. As long as your texting is unlimited, it's a fun way to stay in touch and make learning to text fun too.

I'm buying wellies at Target today too for the rainy day predicted on Saturday, but I think I'm going to go with the pink plaid instead of polka dots. I really like the blue ones with little whales on them, but the plaid matches my pirate hoodie better. Have I mentioned yet that I have managed to coordinate a different hoodie to my uniform shirt for each day? Just sayin'
