I would have loved to have posted some pics, but in the true guy fashion, they forgot the camera at home See, this is what happens when you don't plan ahead (yes, that's me nagging - they will totally miss me when I'm gone ) There is this hotdog stand that opened for the Olympics called Japadog (Japanese Hotdogs) and apparently people are just for them.... The line up is literally blocks long. Jesse wanted to try one, but Frank said no way would he wait in a line up like that for a hot dog - spoilsport!!!

Another beautiful day here - clear and sunny.... Winter, what winter??? LOL!

I wanted to get across the boarder for the Olympics but we have been just to busy. I am planning to finish some of the projects for the trip today and continue to put stuff in piles to pack. I was going to try and pack a carry on only but I don't know how you girls do it! So if I end up having to check my bag I am sorry for those I am riding a shuttle with.

Are there still takers out there for picking stuff up at the store? I could use a couple of items for our room. Thanks ahead of time.

Happy Sunday Divas!

It's been a lazy morning here and the boys actually let me sleep in for once. Now Dave is off taking my car for an oil change before my trek across the Mojave. Honestly I think he is doing it more for the alone time than for helping me out (as he claims), but I'll take it as I always hate sitting there waiting while they work on your car.

Got a bunch of work work to do today and a bunch of trip details to wrap up as well, so it's gonna be another busy one!

BTW--Angie and Theresa I love that you (or your boys in Theresa's case) got to experience part of the Olympics firsthand. The coverage has been on our tv practically nonstop for the last 10 days and I think it's so cool that you got to see things in person.

I am so jealous of you Western Wa peeps and your flip flops! It's still a bit to chilly here. But I won't complain too much, soon enough the temps will be above 95 here!

I have the next 2 days off to finish packing or rather start packing!
I found some tiara stickers. I can't remember who was asking about them.
Today we are going to Costco and I need to exchange some clothes of Jordans. Then home to study for my anatomy test.

Today we're going to my grandparents for lunch. I need to jump in the shower in a bit. Then I need to clean and do laundry. Pack and finish some stuff up. I only have 3 days of work this week! YAYAYAY!

Hi ladies. Ruben and I are home from a GREAT night out. We went to BB Kings and had a great dinner. (mmmm, fried green tomatoes!) There was a great blues band playing too. Then we walked the Strip for a bit and ended up at Kahunaville. Fun, as always.
We finished it off with late night dessert at the Venetian. It was a nice treat and I'm glad we had that time together before I take off for SIX days. lol


Many of you will be happy to see the rain is now totally gone from our trip schedule. The weather looks picture perfect, sunny with highs ranging from upper 60's to mid 70's. Should bring out TONS of local crowds eager to see Captain EO.




Glad to see everyone making tees, working on pillowcases, getting packed, doing shopping, etc.
Won't be long now!!!!!

90% of it is park and resort items, usually at 50% off, sometimes 75% too.

I missed a lot while enjoying the trip to Vancouver!

My son curled last year and really enjoyed it. My MIL even plays it on the frozen lake just in front of their house. They freeze water in ice cream buckets to use as stones.



We saw a ton of people! We saw the Olympic flame, a zipline right over the busiest street in the city, the kids got to hold a 23 lb gold bar and we saw a million dollar coin. We didn't want to wait in the 5 hour line up to touch the real gold/silver and bronze medals.

I can grab some items this week, if you still need somebody.

Don't panic over the weather still....they have no idea when the rain is coming and how much. We were supposed to get some Fri night and all day Saturday....it rained lightly late Friday night and none on Saturday...lol I think we will have some rain at some point, but nothing is looking really heavy yet!

Got a bunch of work work to do today and a bunch of trip details to wrap up as well, so it's gonna be another busy one!

I was busying packing a small suitcase my parents are letting me borrow and I had to really think it through or it would not close I have all of my prepackaged snacks, candy for the buffet, undies, t-shirts and I'll have to see if I can fit in a pair of jeans.

In my tote bag I have four rolls of toilet paper (for my apt not the trip ), box of kleenex, and the bags for the buffet.

My dad is FINALLY sewing up my pillowcase tonight while at a church meeting (at our pastor's house) because they have a fully functional seqing machine. Ours is 12+ years old and isn't working properly.

My dad is driving me to Union station this afternoon for my train ride back to Fullerton. I'm kind of freaking out because I can't find my phone charger but I believe it's in my car, hopefully I'm right.

I just took a nap. I am doing laundry today, will start to pack tomorrow. Still not really sure what I'm packing. I've looked high and low for a lime green shirt. Cannot find one that I can afford, that fits nicely and that is a style I'd actually want to wear again once the trip is over. So look for me in brown or something.

Today was a productive day! I made our door sign and ironed the pirate image to our t-shirts. I am pretty darn impressed with how they turned out I am thinking of blinging them up a bit, but that's only if time allows before I leave..

I have 2 extra transfers if anyone still needs them and was going to iron them on at Hojo's.
