I love tacos too! It's probably the one and only thing my family of six can agree on.

Did you guys know you can get candy from Oriental Trading?
They have things like 240 candy powder filled straw for $5.49, 120 Dum Dums for $7.99, 50 Wonka Bottle Caps for $4.99, etc.

I never would've thought of them for candy.

I'll probably just go to Sam's Club or Costco and see what they have. Although it would be fun to have some nostalgic types of candy.

All of those who are making your shirts, how's it goin'?

I printed out my mom's and mine and dropped it by the dry cleaners..they said they could iron it on for me with their big press iron.

I am crossing my fingers and toes that it turns out, regardless unless it's truly horrid..i'm going to wear it. After hunting for the t shirt then trying to figure out how to print tinK.. { little angels better be blessing Wendylouwho for telling me about the reverse image thing }... it's a matter of principal now.. i'm weaRiN that shirt! Arrrrrrrrrr

That is a good question? I'm thinking that this weekend should be the last of the sign ups. That way, we can let you guys know who you are with.

I told the ladies last weekend, that I think we will work on letting you guys be with someone you might already know, who you are bringing with you, or with your roomates. We want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible.

Beth, I can't remember if you have a roomate list? If so.........maybe you could PM it to me?

Oriental trading company is great for candy! Sometimes they have the nifty little boxes which are fun to get candy in.

I'm going to make corn tortilla tacos..
some with thick slices of avocado in them
others with homemade refried beans and cheese
and shredded chicken

It was my daughter and son in law's first day back at college so i'm having everybody over. SiMpLe SiMpLe
