Thank you everyone who posted their pizza preferences. We appreciate that. Was I the only one who then craved pizza all night yesterday??

I can't believe how close our trip is getting. I love how all the planning is really coming together now.

I had an idea last night. Could be this diet that I'm on...

Anyhow, I always read and drool over that cake thread. You know the one! Maybe for our pizza party, we could get a really cool cake from DVP? Is anyone staying at one of the DLR hotels? That would probably be the easiest way to get it, but there may be another way, if someone with a car could pick it up?? Hmm....

Anyone interested in this? With 30 of us at the party, it should not be more than $2.00 per person.

You know what?? I actually thought of that.
Well, not exactly that. I thought you could only order them if you were staying at the hotels OR eating at one of the hotel restaurants.
So I had toyed with the idea of ordering one for our character meal.
I never said anything because I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested or how it all works. (I've never ordered one before)
But if we could get one that night somehow I'd be up for it. I'm always up for cake!!!
Do you know if we can just order and pick one up though............

I love the idea of getting a cake!!!!

It would be much easier than trying to bring something from home, and worrying about having enough or too much. I don't want extras in the room because I want an excuse to go to the Pooh Corner place and get some things.

We are busy packing...again. Beth I don't know how you could love to do this all the time. I am excited about a new place to live though.

All of those who are making your shirts, how's it goin'?

I printed out my mom's and mine and dropped it by the dry cleaners..they said they could iron it on for me with their big press iron.

I am crossing my fingers and toes that it turns out, regardless unless it's truly horrid..i'm going to wear it. After hunting for the t shirt then trying to figure out how to print tinK.. { little angels better be blessing Wendylouwho for telling me about the reverse image thing }... it's a matter of principal now.. i'm weaRiN that shirt! Arrrrrrrrrr

We are busy packing...again. Beth I don't know how you could love to do this all the time. I am excited about a new place to live though.

Well, the packing part isn't all that fun. LOL But it's an adventure! And when we moved, it was always cross country (from CA to MI then to NV) so we'd have a road trip to go along with it. I loved it!
And you'll be thrilled once you are in your new place.

Jen, to be honest, I never listen to the podcasts. I forget about them actually. But I think we can organize a photo of a bunch of us having a Dole Whip for Bob. I know I'm planning to get one anyway, so why not? I think it would be great. Maybe we could make a sign or poster or something to hold up while we all pose with our Dole Whips.
Anyone else interested in this?? It seems like such a simple but nice thing to do.

Hey, January & Beth, it is picking up. I just missed getting $100 in for January, since I didn't do too much in December after being paid on the 15th. But this is my Disney money, so I have incentive to keep doing it. However, being at .10 STINKS!! Hopefully as of tomorrow, I'll be back to .20.



Hmmm, maybe we should ask the Von's girls to get us a small container of creamer. Callie, any specific flavor? I pretty much like them all!

ChaCha has been busy for me! I was stoked to get some back to back questions. My goal is to earn 200 before the February payout---it's a longshot, but I am going to try.

I'm so in for a good cake! I'm not sure if we can get one from Disney Vacation Planning though - unless we order one and get it delivered at the Ariel's lunch on Thursday. We could just carry it back to the hotel after lunch. If anyone is good with that, I can phone and check if it's possible.... Let me know PDQ.

I've never listened to the podcast (is it more for WDW?), but I'd be good to go for a Dole Whip for Bob (although truthfully - don't tell anyone - I'm not really a fan of the Dole Whip ) If anyone else wants to do the t-shirt thing, I'd be good for that too (I did see a link for that on the boards, right??).

I just called Disney Vacation Planning to try and get more info on the cakes. The CM I spoke with wasn't overly cheerful to say the least.

She said the cakes can only be delivered to Disney hotel rooms OR Disney hotel restaurants.

I said what if we don't want it delivered but plan to pick it up ourselves.

She said you won't be able to get it through security. Which stumped me for a minute until I realized she thought I was going to pick it up and take it into one of the parks.

I said I'm not going to be going through security, then she quickly said well, you have to go through security to get into the parks and they can't cut it up to search the cake.

So I explained that what I meant was I wasn't taking it into the park, but rather planning to pick it up and take it to another hotel we were staying at near by.

She then told me to call the hotel I was staying at and see if they had a bakery and could help me out.

Whatever! I felt she was rude. She could just say picking it up simply isn't an option.

So I guess that's that unless:
1. Someone else wants to give it a try. Maybe they'll have better luck or get a different CM.
OR
2. We order one for our character meal, but I'm not sure who will want cake so early in the morning and right after a buffet. That's why I didn't suggest it before.

I will try and get my list together. My lunch was over 11 minutes ago...lol. I am working and dissing. I don't think this is something I can do all the time since my computer is hooked up to the SMART board (like a interactive chalkboard).

Yeah, see my post on my wonderful conversation with DVP.

That's a good idea. Couple things though:
1. That would mean we'd have to leave the park right after lunch to take the cake back.
2. Where would you store it until time for the party? Your room?
3. What size/shape cake would it have to be to feed 30 people? I just wondering how heavy it would be.
I can just see it getting dropped or jostled on the long walk from Ariel's to the room at the HoJo!!!



But whatever everyone wants to do. That CM just put me in a bad mood.

Costco has really good sheet cakes and cupcakes. I don't know if this is an option.
