I know. And $300 a month might as well be $3000 a month for us. We don't have any extra. We rent a house and we have to take care of certain things like weekly landscaping and any pest spraying (spiders!!!!

) but if something major goes wrong like plumbing or air conditioning, etc. then we can just call the landlord and not have to worry about paying for it.
Plus I've never been one to really want "roots". My MIL and FIL married at age 19, bought a house and lived there for 40 years! I could never do that. I get bored too easily.
When the kids move out, Ruben and I are going to sell everything we own, buy a motorhome and travel the U.S.

(Well, that's our goal anyway)
