Alright I'm caught up as of now....We're heading out to dinner, the one night of the week I know I don't have to cook or do dishes. :cheer2: I'll be back on later tonight.

Hope you all had a great day.

steph
Enjoy your dinner. And yay for one night without cooking or dishes. :cool1:

Is that code for ditching? ;)

Im not Wendy! No, we are in the lab doing our lecture today, so I have easy access to the computers. So when break was called, I logged in super quick. Well, to be honest, I was already on the DIS when the instructor called break. I just typed in my password and here I am. Aren't you lucky?

Pepperoni or cheese pizza for me!

Margaritas- yummy! Or diet pepsi

Any and all desserts...espeically with chocolate or cream cheese!

Sarah

Or peanut butter, did I mention peanut butter...and chocolate!

Working a double today...16 hours, ugh...oh well, more money towards my doors and landscaping. I got a quote for replacing my front and back doors with fiberglass ones and putting on Phantom Screens....$3000! :crazy2:  There goes my landscaping budget, but it has to be done...the front door now has duct tape on it and that is a little too "Jeff Foxworthy" for me!

Sarah

About the Vons thing - I wouldn't mind a 12 pack of diet pepsi! In fact, that would be fabulous! Just let me know what I need to do to help that work out!

Thank you!:flower3:
Sarah

Awesome, thanks Beth! I will reimburse you of course! I appreciate it! I am only bringing a carryon suitcase and will be taking the shuttle to the park so a 12 pack isn't the easiest thing to tote around! And yes, for doors and screens. I have to say the 2 screen doors are 700 plus just for them. I hate regular screen doors that bang and such and the phantoms just roll up in a nice little tube so we are kind of splurging on those, but goodness gracious! I have put less than 3000 on the principle of my house in the 2 years I have lived there!

Wow, that's one reason I never wanted to own. Well, two reasons actually. One, I like the freedom to move if I get bored. And two, it's not enough to have the money for the mortgage, you've got to have additional for repairs, upkeep, upgrades, etc, and we don't. :sad2:

Hi, guys!

I thought I would pop in while doing homework.:goodvibes

Beth are you still doing ChaCha?

As for drinks.....I'm a cranberry and malibu girl.

hmmm. I've done cranberry and vodka (and love it) but never cranberry and rum--and I LOVE rum!

Any and all desserts...espeically with chocolate or cream cheese!

Sarah

I knew I liked you for some reason!

Yes, it's called the $300 a month surprise--there's always something.

I know. And $300 a month might as well be $3000 a month for us. We don't have any extra. We rent a house and we have to take care of certain things like weekly landscaping and any pest spraying (spiders!!!! :crazy2: ) but if something major goes wrong like plumbing or air conditioning, etc. then we can just call the landlord and not have to worry about paying for it.

Plus I've never been one to really want "roots". My MIL and FIL married at age 19, bought a house and lived there for 40 years! I could never do that. I get bored too easily.
When the kids move out, Ruben and I are going to sell everything we own, buy a motorhome and travel the U.S. :) (Well, that's our goal anyway)

You are like my Great Grandma (known as "Ma"--her name was Icy--which I always thought was really pretty). She apparently liked to move a lot too--even from a house to the house next door! My great grandfather (who worked on the railroad) would come home and find out they had moved!

Nope. You? I was just too annoyed with it. I hated reading how everyone else was getting questions and I wasn't. :confused3

I just recently started back up to help fund this trip. It has been busy lately. I have been answering soooo many question about President Obama and Abraham Lincoln.

I am up to 4.50!:cool1::lmao:At this rate, I may make 50 by the time we leave in March. lol

OMG, that's too funny.

I'm glad you're getting some questions!! So far you almost have enough to buy a corn dog. :rotfl:

Seriously, it's better then nothing so it's good your sticking with it. :)

Josh and I want to do the same thing. We'll have some type of home during the winter, but we'll be traveling the rest of the year. There's so much we want to see and do.

I know! I've never even wanted to travel outside of the U.S. because I feel like there is so much I want to see and do here. :)

Well ladies, it's only 8:15 but I feel like it's midnight. I'm going to start reading Breaking Dawn, and then turn in for the night. Later!

Good luck with that, Beth...is that the second book?
I had a hard time putting that one down....

I am outta here too. I am going to go watch some tv and relax. Have a goodnight ladies!:wave2:
