Girls Only Disneyland Trip - Old Thread

My birthday's a week after the trip! We could celebrate early and have 3!! Any excuse for cake is good, right??

I'm almost positive we ordered the same exact shirt. Mine is just embarrassing and not cute looking at all. There is just no hiding my fat in that shirt!

If i may ask.. Please pray for my daughter tonight, they found her best friend dead in her dorm room this afternoon. this is my daughters childhood friend who has grown up as her sister. my daughter spoke to her on the phone everyday..and yesterday didn't get ahold of her.. when she couldn't get her on the phone today..she called her best friends mother.. and her mom hadn't heard from her since wednesday. So my daughter called the university to get them to send someone to go check if her friend was alright. hhmmmm... and they found her dead in her bed.

we are devestated as she was like a member of our family..and my daughters children loves her like an aunt. so the three little grandchildren had to be given the death talk tonight..we have them here for the night..as daughter is just so very broken hearted.

my son in law said, that wednesday night my daughter woke up from a bad dream and told my son in law that she dreamed her best friend died.
he said he held her and said it's just a bad dream..but she couldn't go back to sleep so he got her a tylenol pm.

Then today they find her best friend dead. My daughter is so Upset. Please pray for my daughter and her family as well as the young girls mother and father.. as she was their only child.

she was going to college to be a teacher. it is just heartbreaking.

Ok guys well I am totally freaking out! I went to pick Lynn up from school and I sat there and sat there and she never came out. I called the school and they said she wasn't there. So I asked if she had been in her classes and they said yes so it got late and I had to go pick up the girls but then I went BACK to the school and nothing. So then I went home and her phone was gone but when I called her number it had voicemail which her phone did NOT have before. We got her the basic plane. So then I called Metro and she changed it TODAY. Then I found she had stolen some money out of the house.

She RAN AWAY!

So I have been on the phone all day with the police and calling her friends and on and on. I am So livid I can't speak. I thought maybe she was going to her mom's but that number is disconnected. We don't know if she is with a boyfriend or what the hell.

I am so mad I could scream. I haven't gone into it on here but last year she got in a ton of trouble and we went through counseling with her but I am so done this time. I had to call the bank and cancel her account so she couldn't run too far.

I am just besides myself. I told Shane IF she comes back she is going to have to go to a group home because I can't take it anymore. I have had it with her!

I have been lurking all day. I don't feel well at all. I am trying to pack this place up, and I just haven't been myself.

Then I read this, and my heart goes out to Kelly. I am sorry that your family is struggling with all of this. I hope that Lynn is ok, and I pray that she and your family find the help you need to get through this.

Ok, so where did everybody go? I finally get a chance to get on with one kid napping and the other one watching a disney movie, and nobody is here. Well, fine, I guess I will just go do laundry.

I'm sorry I missed you Sarah. I've been torturing myself to the point of a nervous breakdown with online horror stories and youtube videos of tooth extractions.
I'm seriously thinking of canceling my appt and just taking my chances with the infection spreading. I mean, it doesn't hurt anymore, so it can't be that bad.

We have lots of errands to do tomorrow. But the best thing is that we're going to see our puppy (he was born the day after Christmas) and the kids don't know yet. I can't wait to see their surprised faces.

I have been lurking all day. I don't feel well at all. I am trying to pack this place up, and I just haven't been myself.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Are you getting sick or just feeling tired/stressed?
Moving can be so draining. I hate being unsettled and even when it's a good move, it can take a lot out of you.

I might be able to make it up there on either Sat. or Sun. morning.

The dentist is your friend, don't forget that! I've had about 4 oral surgeries, and one of those was for an implant. If I can do it, you can do it. I'll have a churro and think of you!

Liar, liar pants on fire! Dentists are no one's friend. They are evil, mean, horrible creatures.

The only one teeny tiny bright side I can see is maybe if I can't eat much, I'll lose some more weight. Other then that, it sucks.

I think I'm both tired/stressed and getting sick. I have the sniffles, cough, and red throat.

If you're a witch in the morning, I'm the ying to your yang. I'm happy go lucky in the morning, but when I get tired...forget about it. I don't even like chocolate when I'm tired. Oh, and if I'm hot, don't even look at me. I hate to be all sweaty and hot. DH always insists on touching the small of my back when we're out. He has learned NOT to do that when I'm hot.

sweat and back fat are not my friends....
