Just need to share.....

My leg was itching something crazy. So I went to scratch it and I was appalled by my own leg. I haven't shaved for quite some time. I can't even remember when I last shaved. It very well could have been NYE for all I could remember. The hair is long and my legs are soooo dry. Its just nasty. I guess Im gonna have to take a weed wacker to them soon.

I saw this Food Network Special with Giada a couple of years ago--she was on this Greek island that was just GORGEOUS and I want to go there. shoot, I want to Live there!

Oh & Italy...I love those two places!! I love the sound of the men from Ireland...ever since I saw P.S. I love you...

Morning everyone!

My back is bothering me and I didn't get a good night's sleep last night either. Soooo, I decided to drop Ty off at daycare and came home to get some sleep and watch the inauguration. I figure that's what sick days are for, right? Even though I was taping the inauguration, I'm glad I got to watch it live!

I just got done watching the inauguration...very cool.

I love Michelle Obama's dress. She looked very lovely.

I got up late at 5 a.m. -- watched most of the coverage--except when taking a shower. And am now at work. I also liked Michelle's dress (although I liked the one on Sunday better!) and throught the girls looked adorable!

Funny about the oath--I guess the Chief Justice is the one who mixed up the words, Pres. Obama caught it and hesitated, then the CJ repeated it correctly!

I am glad that you got to see it. I did notice a hestitation by President Obama and he kinda grinned...I just thought he was nervous. Good catch! I was half watching half dealing with Maddie and her spilling her OJ.

All in all it was a really neat thing to see. I am bummed Maddie is sick, but because she is I got to see the inauguration.

Shave already woman! I have to shave everyday or I end up all stubbly. I shave daily, wash my hair daily and never leave the house without makeup under any circumstances.

I had a wonderful 2 hours of sleep last night! I have a hugely busy week ahead of me, and I woke up at 2:00, thinking of everything I have to get done. I see a lot of coffee in my future today!

Ugh, that sucks. I'm sorry. I hope your week isn't too bad and you are able to get more rest tonight.

Well, I was supposed to go to work today...but Maddie woke up with a slight fever and cough. So I will be home. I will spend that time doing homework. Blah.

Awww, poor Maddie! I hate it when kids are sick. I hope she feels better soon.

I figure that's what sick days are for, right?

Well, that and pretending to be sick when you are really off at Disney.

Parents, teachers and students watched the inauguration together at my son's school this morning. It was quite the event!

They were playing it here in the casino at the sports booking areas on all the tvs, and on the big jumbo tv outside of Planet Hollywood, and the Hilton had it in their showroom on a big screen.


I didn't watch it.

Good morning ladies! Back to normal routine around here. Ruben's back at work and the kids are off to school.
I'm feeling ok, still can't eat though and I feel like if I have to look at another pudding cup, jar of applesauce or container of frozen yougurt I'm going to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Callie, I hope your crown fitting went ok! I know you are about as thrilled with the dentist as I am.
I have to go back Thursday for him to check on my extraction site and see how it's doing. Plus remove the stitches. That thought makes me cringe. More pain..........yay me.

So sorry to hear you still can't eat. I remember when I was going through something similar. It hurt to even drink. I had to use a straw. You will feel better in no time.
I don't think that getting the stitches removed will hurt that bad. Don't they start coming apart on their own before they remove them? Just pop another pill.

There's just something about being told you CAN'T eat, that suddenly makes you crave everything, kwim? LOL It's not a huge deal, it just gets old after awhile.

I don't think these stitches are the self disolving kind. Not sure. I guess I'll find out. And I will definitely take a happy pill, assuming I have any left by then!!
