Is he married?????????
I don't know. My good friend has gone to him since we were in college, so he's at least old enough to have gone through....that...school by '87. He started in his father's practice (is still in the same building actually) so that means he didn't have to be out on his own struggling...he's, obviously, 22 years older but his eyes are still amazing.
I'm used to him now, but the first time I saw him I blushed while we spoke, b/c he is so cute.
But my friend and I can't figure out if he's married or not.
Molly, I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I forced my younger sister to go through recruitment this past fall (she is a college freshman in Ohio) and she got dropped by all chapters too. I was so disappointed for her as my sorority sisters were and are my best friends in the world! But, she is an out and proud lesbian and apparently she did not fit the mold of what the girls on her campus felt that a sorority girl should be. What made it even harder for her was the fact that she convinced her roommate to go through recruitment with her and the roommate ended up getting invited to join the chapter my sister wanted to be in.
Yeah, being that out wouldn't have worked well at the houses at my college either.
I wasn't even going to rush at all, but during freshman year orientation (they no longer have rush first semester) a friend down the hall convinced me to just "try" it, have some fun (there is nothing fun about sorority rush, not even the peppermint milkshakes we had at the Alpha Phi house made it fun...the guys however got beer, and that made it much more fun for them). Turned out she's something like a triple legacy, with mom, aunt, and grandmother all having been Tri Delts, so she was an absolute for that house.
I was a cute little thing during that first rush, but I had NO small talk skills (still don't, note my novels when short quick answers would suffice for anyone else) and my dad was a bus driver (so I had nothing interesting to say when they asked what my parents did) and I was the first in my family to even go to college so I just had nothin' going for me.
Oh, and I noticed that the women that I DID talk to at the houses, the ones that it seemed I clicked with, they ALL, to a person, left their houses later. Drama geeks, most of them, and a couple Crew people who just had no time whatsoever...so you can see that I would never ever do well on a show like Lost, since I made friends with the wrong people!
Ruh roh, what does that mean for you all?
