I survived barely the day at DCA. I am so happy.

I waited out front until about 10:15 then got an ECV in DCA. Had a long talk with one of the chefs as in an important one and I learned a lot. Fairfax Market has organic and vegan, probably, all fruit smooshed like a roll up.

I walked right onto Monsters ride and left the scooter outside as I remember that ride's line as being way tight.the walk was not that bad and there was big gouge marks from scooters on the base of the walls.

I drove onto the line at Tower of Terror and some people walked in. they waited for one preshow room to load then they got on with me. Like wow that is fast. My car had at least 5 empty seats.

The CMs were very nice where ever I went. I did all the rides in Bugs Land and that was like being a kid again. I checked out the Wharf which dead ends. I did the tortilla tour but refused the YUCK flour tortilla. the restaurant with soup in a bowl and the beer truck and Cocina Sin Comida were open. I aiint eating a bleeping child taco. The wharf dead ends so I doubled back.

I ate gluten and soy free barbecued chicken pizza and a bottle of water, oh heaven. Indigestion and a bit of racing pulse but I was ok, the cheese caused the reaction. Indigestion. I went on Toy Story and it was a 15 minute wait. A lady was in single rider line and went with me an dshe was helping me out on the ride and was so nice. Made my day. I won the bunny level I think.

I stopped by ARiel's then around and did Zephyr, and missed Jellyfish. Rustworthy has no water at the front of the boat on the east side. Oom Mow Mow is till open. I will never ever go on the Maliboomer even if you could get me a perfect body and teeth and eyes and brain. I did the orange stinger and fells when the seat slid from me. Not meant for people over 100 pounds, ouch. I WAS SCARED XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I was having panic attacks and wanted off NOW. I did the Tower with some fear but now am used to it but I mean a total meltdown freaking out panicking, get me off.

I went over to Ariiels and sat in the sun and gave up on rides. I met up with the ladies and we met famous people and had find food. I had tri tip that waas too salty, good squash julienned with onions, and garlic mashed taters. DESSERT WAS NOT FAIR NOT FAIR. Everyone got these lovely dessert and I was given orange blood sorbet. I find it insulting that they had no chocolates or ice cream or anything but sorbet which was too pungent.

I loved the food and met some nice people but one lady was claiming dibs on jello shooters. She had dibs on everything, lol. They al treated me well even though my dining manners do not exist, my hair is not fresh from the shop, and I am highly sensitive and loud. It was so nice to be part of a group of people for once in a long while and not have to be with people like Calvin. Nice to be free of men and epople who do not care about me or understand me. Such nice ladies.

I am rocking and tired and trying to calm down and stay warm right now. I am thinking of going to the party tonight but am crying tired so I need to rest and see if later I am rested enough,

Laurie...I'm sorry you are so tired, but WOW what a full day! That must have been so fun. Hopefully you'll be able to forget the Orange Stinger experience soon...scary scary.

I like your name for the DCA Mexican restaurant, even though we like their veggie options... And about that, you said "he restaurant with soup in a bowl and the beer truck and Cocina Sin Comida were open."...does that mean Pacific Wharf cafe was indeed open today?

Yes it was and oom mow mow and the beer truck and the tortilla tour. The farm place restaurant near the San Andreas Shakes was also open.

They are running a weekday schedule for fastpasses.

March 1 they had FP for Grizzly Run, Screamin, Mulholland Madness, Soaring and ToT.
March 2 they only had FP for Soarin and Screamin.

March 1 they had FP for Indy, autopia, big Thunder, Roger Rabbit, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Buzz.
March 2 they had FP for space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indy and Roger Rabbit.

for you planners they did that on the weekday schedule I have for February 5 which had the same FP schedule as they had for today. Sorry for the wrench in your FP plans.

OH man I'm still not packed. Or mentally ready. Or ready at all. I have one pair of pants. That's not enough. Augh.


SW now has fares at $48 for Friday and Sunday between Seattle and LAX. I can't even tell you how tempting it was to just book hubby and son! But the ent rate is gone for the 6th and 7th, they each have to pay $20 unless we get a nice CM b/c hubby lost their APs (officially he lost it on Screamin', so they might have found it and then they won't charge), extra food when our fridge and cupboards are bulging with yummy stuff, there's the extra costs of getting them to and from Anaheim...etc. So a $48 airfare would have been multiplied MANY times for the vacay, and I had to step away from the computer.

Plus, I wouldn't be available for almost the whole time, and Eamon has explained that he wants a long trip, not a short trip. Step away, step away...probably should go pack instead of talking myself out of sneakin' the fam onto the LADIES trip!

I met some nice ladies and should sleep. Mary Jo is really nice and I got a really cool tote bag because of the delicious water, I was so thrirsty and boy did that hit the spot. Ate too much candy and peanutes.

Hi all....just a quick hello and a few pictures from today & tonight.
I met up with Chris for lunch at Rancho del Zocalo, met up with the group for Billy Hill, headed over to DCA for the Alladin show, then did some shopping & Toy Story Mania, finally heading to Hojo for the party a little after 7pm. It was really fun seeing everybody as well as meeting so many new friends. The party was really fun, great food, drinks, candy, candy, candy and the tote exchange was fun (I watched, but didn't play) I certainly will play next time!
