You are welcome. I wish I had the chance to meet you, but I had to get back home, left Sat. afternoon.

Maybe next year!!!!! :yay: :cheer2:

AMySue

Now that I have an AP, I'm hoping that happens. Any talk on the dates yet for next year?

I am stopping at the store for a notepad and stuff mom needs then going to park in Timon was no way am I getting close parking at the other lot.

I wont see you ladies there but I had the most fun with the lady on the Small World. I am going to head to one park and start checking the food carts so I can report the updated info. I need only carousels, toontown which will be first today, stupid penny press mission of mine dont you love neurovariations, grizzly rapids, and golden zephyr and jumping jellyfish.

I am bringing cornbread and dessert in case I dine in again. I think I will not try Blue Bayou again as they are always closed and I do not like burnt food. I be leaving in a few and send hugs and chocolates. At 4 I may eat at WCT or Taste Pilots or Award weiners or who knows where. WCT has a nice menu and I not eaten there before.

I am caught up on sleep and last night got loopy and used a CM for a pylon and did donuts around him. We were rather silly in Innoventions and I am glad I missed out on janky Fantasmic, woot, lots and lots of fun there with a lead and her boss and CMs. I know where the Disney magic is hidden, in the hearts of CMs. I would not get through a day at the parks without them. Being disabled and alone means you rely on them magic CMs. I love to see them working their magic.

Will check back in 5/

Had an awesome time Friday & Saturday. Am downloading pictures off my camera now and hoping to do some pages tonight after running errands. Will post once done.

Hello, I'm people watching on Main Street. I haven't seen any DIS ladies today.

Hey motoxprincess we were at the carnation cafe about the same time, at opening yesterday! I ran into a couple ladies on Friday as we were heading down mainstreet, well really close to the city hall building. My kids got into innoventions sat evening, so at some point it was working again!

As we were heading towards DCA there was a slu of ladies, I'm assuming it was the "girls" but my kids were rushing me, so I did not have a chance to stop and see. . . .

can't wait to read the trip reports from you ladies!

Hey

I got back around 5PM last night, went to bed at 8!!! I was worn out.

I had so much fun! I want to sincerely thank Cheryl, Stacie and Michelle for all of their work to set up the party Thursday night. What a GREAT idea!! Somehow I thought we'd just be in a room eating pizza out of boxes!! Nope, it was all very festive and perfect. Anyone there knows that I had fun!!!

I also want to thank all involved in setting up the scavenger hunt. My team was apparently delusional since we were confident in our answers.. 7 of which were WRONG!!!! So Thank you!!

I know I will miss some thanks, but please don't feel slighted, I just can't get everyone straight still.

So THANK YOU for helping, organizing and just showing up (that is how I attended!).

I hope the last 2 days are a riot!!!

Amy Sue

Hey Amy Sue--YOU were the riot at the pizza party--LOL. sigh, I'm home too--had lunch with the group that was scheduled at Wine Country Trattoria then Dawn, Sally (her Mom), Linda and Bree and I went on Bug's Life and then I stopped and got treats for my Mom at the hospital and left. I came by and visited Mom for an hour or two and have so far managed to unpack the car (but not unpack the suitcase!) Other than pulling out what I really need I think I will leave that for another day!

Now that I have an AP, I'm hoping that happens. Any talk on the dates yet for next year?

Hi there--I met you briefly I think at Carnation Cafe. For you and the other lady who asked this same question previously (sorry, forgot to quote it)--once we all get home and settled, Beth will start a new thread and we will do a poll on dates to determine when the trip next year will be. I suspect, however, that it may be a little bit earlier because some ladies would like to use the APs that they activated on this trip.

It was so nice to meet EVERYONE. The biggest negative of the trip was that I didn't get an opportunity to spend time with everyone!

I didn't take any pictures (other than one during the scavenger hunt) so don't have anything to upload, but I'm sure when people start coming back that they have tons to show everyone!

Note to self--next year make more jello shots!!!!!

Amy Sue

Hey, who you calling delusional?? I still think we were right! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. So hectic and all. It was great to meet you and hope I get to hang with you again someday!

can't wait to read the trip reports from you ladies!

That was me and Jand (Cheschire Girl). We were a bit distracted on our mission, which you will read about in a trip report for sure. It was fun to be recognized though. Felt like a celebrity!

I had a wonderful time. I had to get up at 4 today to get home and my bod is so dang tired I can barely move. My dear husband is being super nice and has let me catch a nap and everything, which is pretty good after a weekend with me gone. Usually it's a "great to see you and I'm off to do this and that, so good luck with it all" as soon as I walk in the door.

Did I say I had a wonderful time and it was so fun to meet everyone and I sure hope I remembered to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this fun for all of us! If not, here it is again. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Okay, off to recover, so I can try to do a trip report in the near future! Yeah, Kerry! Get those pages done girl! You youngin's recover much faster.

Hi everyone!

I didn't make it back until late last night, lost an hour of sleep (whoever created daylight saving time needs to be punched, and then had to be up early for church since I was teaching the kiddies in Sunday school.

I had so much fun and I also wanted to thank Cheryl, Stacie, Michelle, and Tracey for the wonderful job they did planning out this pizza party.

Dawn (fairykin) I LOVE YOU :lovestrucYou are the sweetest, nicest, most awesome lady EVER. I had a lot of fun with you and your mom during the pizza party.

Thank you to my roomies (Stacie, Amy, Michelle & Steph) for being awesome and letting me tag along 24/7 because after all I'm just a baby :lmao:

Oh and lest I forget, last but definitely not least, thank you Beth! For all the hard work you put in to plan this trip, coordinate with the other ladies, and keeping up with all the details. I'm bummed we didn't get to hang out more but we always have next year! So when you get back Monday....put up a poll for next year's dates. I need something to plan!

Next year I have to plan better so I can stay the whole time.

I was so exhausted when I can home from church today that I went straight to bed and slept for like 3 hours!

I can't wait until the mini-meet in October and next year's Diva trip, then I'll be calling jello shots (don't worry Stacie I won't bring it up 6543213584 times):rotfl:

Miss you all and I hope you all enjoyed the last two days
I won't be doing a TR because well, I'm a very discombobulated kinda girl so it won't make any sense or it won't be entertaining.

when in doubt, pinky out!

I had a blast. Wish I could have done more things, and am grateful to all of you who planned this (especially Beth the instigator of all). Thank you for the fabulous pizza party and the funtastic scavenger hunt. They were so much fun, and we all benefitted from all of your planning. I had fun on the tours, and the small get-togethers. I am officially worn out. :)

I wish I could have been there for the Dole Whip pic for Bawb, but my daughter forgot her AP & I had to take her home to get it, so I missed out.

Here are some pics, as promised. There are a ton taken by everyone, plus some photopass pics, I believe.

The candy buffet. There were so many different candies it was hard to choose. The homemade candy was heavenly.

Cheryl--how is your mom doing? I kept meaning to ask about her during the trip, but it goes by in such a BLUR!!!!! I finished unpacking this morning and discovered I'd stolen someone elses DVC stuff and am missing the little perks pamphlet. Bummer, I was going to look at it!! Just to wish probably anyway.

Maybe you won't need so many jello shots if we don't invite Stacie!!:rotfl: JK--as you know I am her faithful sidekick!!

Hey, who you calling delusional?? I still think we were right! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. So hectic and all. It was great to meet you and hope I get to hang with you again someday!

I know, we were so confident with our answers, can't believe we had 7 of them wrong!! At least we got to talk to Vern twice, that was fun. As for saying goodbye, I realized on the way home that I pretty much lost you at
the "awards ceremony" and also failed to say goodbye. I, too, enjoyed meeting you!!

Hi everyone!

Thank you to my roomies (Stacie, Amy, Michelle & Steph) for being awesome and letting me tag along 24/7 because after all I'm just a baby :lmao:

Cbel---we were pleased to have you share our room!! I think it is a blast to have an entire gang in the room, it was fun.

Also, who were the roomies at the park after the DVC thing? Yep--the oldster and the youngster.... thanx for coming with me!!

Anyone thinking about joining next year, really try to. It is really fun. This year I didn't meet a single person who wasn't a delight. By nature of the impossiblilty of traveling in large groups, we all tend to splinter off into smaller groups. The groups kind of ebb and flow in size and individuals so you get to spend time with many different women. Unfortunately you will always miss someone you would enjoy, but there is always next year.

As for next year, can I start campaigning for January? I am pretty certain that February will absolutely not work for me. I know, I know, it isn't all about me, but can't I just pretend for a little while?:dance3:

Cheers and hope the rest of the trip ends up as awesome as the first 3 days!!

AmySue

Mary Jo, I'm so glad we got to eat dinner with you at Carnation Cafe on Friday. Last year we barely got to talk!

Beth had so much fun last year, she didn't want to be left out of anything this year!

11450IMG_0720a.jpg

I wonder if we could get one of these rooms for nap time next year. ;)

11450IMG_0723a.jpg

Again, Beth just had to do what everyone else was doing!

11450IMG_0724a.jpg

And... why do we want a sliding wall to the tub?

I so agree!!

Having met the year before, it was great having some real time this year to visit and get to know each other a little more.

Man, it's been so much fun reading all about this. I only wish I could participate next year!

Breakfast at Storytellers.

Chip was particularly interested in my daughter Kelly's Tigger backpack. (I hope he wasn't afraid we weren't going to do the same thing to him!)

Koda just had to come and say hey to Molly

One of the answers to the scavenger hunt was to take a picture of our right index fingers pointing to the "center of Disneyland." I really enjoyed our team - the Pixie Chicks. I joined last minute, and got to play with Kelly, Rosemarie, & Laurie. Everyone did great, and even though we came in 5th it was so much fun!

I know! I can't believe we missed so many. I'm a sore loser. Next time we'll get them!

Me, too! I was telling my mom that it reminded me of my summer camp days:goodvibes

No, thank YOU! Thanks for putting up with me. After thinking about it, I talked your ear off all night!

Oh, really? ;)

I agree! January has less crowds and pretty constant weather (this year we were doing the jacket hokey pokey). Yeah the parks have fewer hours but I don't think it'd be much of a hindrance.

And... why do we want a sliding wall to the tub?

11450IMG_0727a.jpg

Beth knows;)

Cbel---what is all that fancy dancy stuff with changing colors in the quote.

Man, I gotta get cracking and figure out how to do more than just multi quote!!

I can't even add pictures. Bummer.

I am so envious that some of our roommates are still there. Of course, with how tired I was last night and how sleepy I was driving home...if I was still there now, I would probably be in traction or something!!

Does anyone know who gave us the CD's? I remember thanking the idividual...but who was it? I was listening to it today in my car...quite fun!!

I need to go start cutting out pieces for the monkey costumes I need to make for my DD8's school musical...so gotta sign off.

Perhaps I could add a waistcoat and hat so the three little girls could be MONKEY BUTLERS!!!!

Toodles,

AmySue!!!

Well, sadly, I'm home:sad2: But I had a great time!!!!!! I just wish I could have spent more time with more people, but I guess there's always next year. Thanks to all of the organizers of all of the events. We loved the pizza party and the hunt. So fun and creative!
When Callie gets home, I'll let her describe what I think was the best part of the trip. The picture was taken on her camera, so I don't have a copy of it, but I will say that it involves our boyfriend!

Hello, I'm people watching on Main Street. I haven't seen any DIS ladies today.
My mom said she saw you at Taste Pilots Grill today. Sorry I missed you.

I hope you girls are still having fun! I'm so glad I got to meet some of you on the trip! Callie...I'm SO glad you recognized me and stopped to say hello. I wish I could have met more of you....here's the one pic I got with some of the Dis Diva's........I apologize but I can't remember everyones names in the picture so hopefully someone will pipe in to help out. I am on the far right...and Callie is next to me.

IMG_0863.jpg
It was fun to meet you! I hope you can make the trip next year.

I'm off to bed now. I'm so tired and need to recharge for the work week.
