Wow! It's been quiet on here today, even for a Saturday! I spent the morning cleaning up a little around the house and then ran to Trader Joe's, Michael's and Albertson's. Ty just got up from a nap and now we are off to the mall to run a few more errands.

Looking forward to seeing Beth & Amy (hopefully) again tomorrow and meeting Becci for the first time!

Yes, it has been a quiet day. I went and got a massage from Tai the Pummeler, and then spent the rest of the day going to various party shops looking for nice invites for the bridal shower I'm giving. Finally came home and worked one up on Vista Print--I've sent it to my co-party giver for approval and then can get it ordered.

Other than that, just chillin' today

Hello ladies! I have spent all day at the field for my DD's softball team. I am pooped. She is showering right now and then we have errands to run. UGH! This day needs to be over so I can go to sleep.

Im gonna color my hair tonight. I don't think I have done my own color since I was in high school. I just can't justify spending that extra money though. Plus I just don't have the time.

So how short did you cut your hair? What color? Details!

Well, it was a pretty boring day for me, too. Ran some errands and did a little housework. DH is at the Nascar race in Fontana with his son and will be there all day tomorrow, too. I used to go with him, but it's too much for me now. It's such a long day. DD is going to a Mardi Gras party at some bar in downtown Long Beach with her roomies. It includes beads, a hurricane drink, music, games, fun, fun, fun! I don't know what to make for dinner. Need to be somewhat healthy, but not too boring....

I get my color and cut Thursday. How did yours come out?

I LOVE the Billy Hill show. And the chili is good, IMO. I'd love to join. What day is this? I am so confused, and really need to put a schedule together.

Well, January and I dropped off the Thursday Princess lunch list due to finances, so we are going to eat at Golden Horseshoe and watch the 2:35 show.

Hi ladies! Hope you all had a good day. I'm so tired!!

Noelle and I started our errands at 8:30 and didn't get home until almost 6.
We went to Target, Vons, Claires, Lane Bryant, Hot Topic, The Disney Store, Trader Joes, Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Albertsons, Supercuts, and Smith's.

I got my tiara!! I love it but I don't know how to wear it.

And I got my ponchos when I was at the Dollar Tree store. They have a two pack for $1, so everyone remember your ponchos for those water rides.

I got some snacks for our room, and some water and Diet Pepsi. Sarah, if you read this, how much DP did you want?

Anyway, I got a bunch of stuff accomplished and now am going to go rest my feet. Talk to ya'll later.

Beth, you can't beat a good pedi! I very rarely get my hair done, but I try to get a pedi every 3-6 weeks, depending on finances. It just makes me so happy to look down and see cute toes!

Beth, you inspired me today. DH and I went and got pedicures today.
And, Riley had semi-finals in his basketball tourney today, and he lost in overtime by 3 points!
Then DH and I went to dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory for a friend's bday and then we went out (adults only) for extreme bowling. We won 4 free games between us! And, DH got two Turkeys! I didn't kow he had it in him.

Ok, so I've spent the last five hours entering my Disney pins into the PinPics site. I don't have THAT many pins--it just took me a long time to figure out an easier way to find the pins I do have! Most of them are in, but there are a few I'm still trying to identify. Ah well, it's time for bed. Another exciting Saturday night. . . . .

Good news....my hair didn't fall out and I didn't burn my scalp. And the color looks pretty good too. The real test will be tomorrow in natural light.

Ouch - is that good or bad I used to get massage quite often, but I found it a bit painful (yes, I am a wimp!).

Beth - you should really try it! I would not do it for years and then my sister talked me into one and I am hooked It's really a nice girly and pampering afternoon to go with my sister and get pedicures. I love how it looks. It's my one (okay my second ) completely indulgent thing I do for myself.

I completely agree! I don't spend a lot of time on myself, but I do make sure that I make time for my manicures and pedicures. I work at home, so I don't go out to eat lunch often, don't smoke, don't drink a lot - this is my thing. I love having nice nails I used to bite my nails for a very long time, so it is great for me now to have people actually compliment me on my nails instead of seeing the gross bitten ones I had

I am not sure what my hair would look like if i did it myself..
I have friends who do it themselves and it looks great, but I am sure that if I did it...I would end up spending way more money trying to get it fixed!!

I have never had short hair. In January my friend she is a stylist, she cut it shorter and then yesterday, she cut just a little more off in the back...
I am getting use to it..its weird, I have always had longer hair.
I have shadowing under and the top is light & dark, the colors I am not
even sure what they are.

Good morning ladies!

This weekend has been a nightmare. I hope you all don't mind me sharing with you.

Yesterday, after we came home from playing at the park, Maddie passed out and was unresponsive. We called 911 and the paramedics came with the fire department. They were working on her and she finally started coming around. She eyes were open but there was no response. She was pale and her lips were blue. I thought she was dying. I cannot explain what I was feeling. I literally thought she was gone. Thank goodness my parents and brother were there with us. I don't think I could have handled it. Brent was sobbing. I had never seen my husband cry like that.

We got to the hospital and they immediately started testing her. They had her hooked up to an IV and did an EKG, CAT scan, a lung x-ray, blood test and urine. After being there for about an hour, she was starting to get her normal look bad. Her cheeks were rosy and she was watching iCarly. She kept saying she was hungry. We were so happy. She wanted to go home. We were baffled. Just an hour before that she was so sickly.

The doctor told us she has a heart murmur and her white blood cell count is high. He didn't seem too concerned about it though. She had pnuemonia that had gone unnoticed. She has been sick...I just thought it was a cold. I feel like the WORST mom ever. Everything came back great on the CAT scan.

They kept her for four more hours just to make sure she was okay to go home. She has been fine since. We have to take her to her primary doctor first thing Monday morning.

If you all don't mind...could you please just say a prayer for her. It would really mean a lot to me.
