Oh Melody, I'm sorry to hear of the news about your sister. Let me know if there is anything that I can do for you!

I'm going to try and coordinate with what I already have. I'm not a huge matchy matchy type person, but if we all have different shirts of a same color theme it won't be too bad. :flower3:

I still need to find a tiara. Are we wearing them to the princess lunch? I'm not going to do PFF since it's my first morning in the park and I want to soak things in before the VIP tour. I might just have to wear it to lunch! princess:

Hi all!

I am still fighting my cold, but it is nothing compared to poor Wendy--get better soon!!!

Melody, my thoughts are with you and your family during this rough time. So far 2009 has been a tough year, but it's got to get better.

Beth, I did see the lime green shirt yesterday at the Super Wal-Mart at Eastern and Russell for $9. I didn't buy one as I figure that I am probably only going to eat at Club 33 once in my life and lime green isn't exactly what I pictured myself wearing (no offense to those who like it though). But, it is a cute style of shirt at a good price. In fact, I might actually end up picking it up in one of the 10 or so other colors they had. I really liked a pale aqua one and a coral color one that they had.

Thanks to Cheryl and Sarah for the new mystery event... this is going to be so much fun! Only 15 days left!!!

Ok, what mystery event???? Boy am I behind!

Beth, yes I am sure about Hungry Bear! I have never been there and am dying to go and though I would love to try the soup at Pacific wharf, Heather and I don't get to go to DL very often and we want to go to that park first on Thursday, not CA.

Any of you all bidding on a tiara on ebay? I don't want to work against ya! ;)

Man, I really want a sash also...that would take a loooooong piece of fabric though, and then it would just keep getting stuck around the 'girls'. I better off with just a tiara the more I think about it! :rotfl:

OK, I've been busy also so I haven't been following the tee shirt talk. But since there seems to be confusion over it, let's try to get it straight once and for all and I will add it to the front for those who do want to color coordinate.

Thursday - ? (is this day anything goes?)
Friday - red shirts and tiaras to PFF
Saturday - Tink shirts
Sunday - lime green
Monday - blue/turquoise

Can someone fill in the blanks for me and then I'll post it up front for those who are interested. Thanks!! :)

(and yes, before the trip I highly recommend each person print out a copy of the trip schedule or jot down a few notes at least to help keep it all straight) :thumbsup2

For those of us who have them, aren't we doing the brown/pink shirts on Thursday? And the ones who don't have one could wear brown and/or pink, too!

15 days!!!! 360 hours!!! I can't believe this is happening again. It just seems unreal! Can't wait to meet you all and to see Beth and January again!!!! Have I told you all that those two were my favorites on the Disneyworld trip. There were another 2 ladies we hung out with who were fantastic as well ( I think at least one of them was January's roommate), but January and Beth were totally my fav's and now I get to see them again!!!! I warn you now....you will be getting biiiiiiiggggg :grouphug: hugs and having lots of pictures taken! I am really looking forward to meeting more of you fantastic people and making more lasting friendships!!!!:flower3: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Sarah:banana:   :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3: :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cool1: :cool1: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

MotoXPrincess and I have a "mystery contest" going--if you want to participate PM me your email address.

My tiara from ebay is already shipped out so we're good here (unless I decide on a second one).

That was my thought too--EXCEPT that as much as I love the color and design of the brown/pink shirt I hate the sleeves (bat wings) so unless I find the appropriate longer sleeve top to wear under it I will wear something else (but will try to coordinate).

Yep, your excitement made everyone run and hide! I just ran away and played solitaire though. :rotfl:

The itchies are coming back! I wish I brought my lotion with me to work.

Man, I'm being ostrasized already....this is sooooo not a good start to things!

Well I'm not going to make chicken anymore, cuz I forgot to buy the chicken. But I have a good excuse.

Well, while i was in Target shopping, I got a call from my sister who lives in Oregon. She shared with me that she has cervical and uteran cancer. So next week, Dave and I, along with my Mom (who is still dealing with my Stepdad's death,) are going up there to be with her for the surgery. We will be gone from Tuesday to Sunday. My Mom will stay longer. She is having a tuff time today. :sad1: So am I.

I have no clue on this type of cancer, but I hear it can be bad. I'm almost afraid to look it up.

So my life is a little bit more busy. I hope I can get everything done, by the time of our trip to DL. If not, then I will still be amongst friends, and having a great time.:grouphug:

I need to get back to sewing bonnets and totes.

Melody - I'm very sorry to hear about your sister. That's tough to deal with. The good thing is she is getting treatment. The great thing is her family will be there to help her through it. Stay strong!

I'm confused too . . . . . .

I thought tiara day was Friday because that is the day some of us are wearing red shirts. (and my tiara will color coordinate).

Cheryl - Friday is red shirt day, tiara day, Princess Fantasy Faire, VIP Tour (no sleeping for you :yay:)

Now I'm confused too. I'm just going to wear my tiara everyday!

Wendy - That is a FABULOUS idea princess:

Wow, glad I asked. I had no idea we were color coordinating!

I am feeling quite a bit better today! Yeah for antibotics! I am back at work and my throat feels better though I am still a bit dizzy. I am scheduled to do some training tomorrow so I am glad I am better. It is a great opportunity for me to show what I am made of and will look great on my resume for promotions within my company!

Sarah

Sarah - I'm glad you're feeling better :thumbsup2 It sucks to be sick.

Are you sure you don't want soup instead? :rolleyes1

:rotfl:

I like the location of Hungry Bear, but then again I prefer the soup at Pacific Wharf Cafe....... Hmmmm, what to do, what to do.....

Beth - is the Pacific Whart Cafe open? Disneyland says the Boudin Bakery and tour are closed during this time (doesn't it?). Isn't that where the bread bowls are made? I hope it's open (love the chicken salad and broccoli soup).

Despite the fact that I already have two tiaras, Heather asking about bidding on tiaras on ebay got me curious about looking at what all it out there. And while I was looking, I found the cutest headbands that have a crystal Mickey Mouse on them for 99 cents plus $4.99 shipping.

While they are not a true tiara, I thought that they were adorable and ordered one for myself and one for my niece for her birthday trip, and the combined cost was less than $9! If anyone else is interested just type in mickey tiara into ebay and about 10 listings for the exact same item will come up.

oh gosh--I may have to get one of those Mickey tiaras. The shipper will combine shipping and each additional one is only $1.99 shipping (plus the 99-cent cost). Anyone else want one? I'd hate to have us all paying $4.99 for shipping on a 99-cent item!

Heather
