Morning all. LOL at Fork you!! That is hilarious.

And Steph LOVE your pup! I used to have a black lab mix and she was my FAV dog ever!! I miss her so! Your pup is adorable!

BETH I e-mailed my friend last night since time is running short and she is def NOT coming. :( so I don't know if you need to do it or not but you can take her off the list for the breakfast and the scavy hunt. I just hope the other gal shows for the hunt or mom and I will be the only 2 person team LOL. But even if she doesn't show I don't want us separated cuz I know mom would not like that so if that is the case we already agreed we will stay as a two person team if we have to cuz we don't want to be split up. I am just really bummed about Wendy. I know she would have had a great time but her dh still hasn't found a job. I know how much it sucks to be broke but I told her we could have made it really cheap for her but I DO understand. Oh well.

So CAPRI it looks like we are ON to have dinner with you guys at Jazz Kit Express that night as well too! So we will have to catch up with you guys for that or I will have to write that down somewhere LOL. Too many things to remember. Guess I better print that front page off. Is it finally finalzed Beth? Or should I wait till the day before I leave to print it just in case?

Anyway today I gotta run in to work again, BLEH, but mom is going to Truckee so as soon as I am done with my work I am outta there. We got the girls HSM3 on video the other day so when I get home we will probably watch it. Other than that not much going on. My ghost whisperer is a stupid rerun tonight and Shane is working so not much else going on for a Friday night.

Don't talk to much now, I can't keep up ;)

See yall later!

How fun that the twins are coming too! Amy, any plans to bring any of your kids along too?
She might as well. It's a family affair now! :thumbsup2

Beth!
You are killing me with the porn. I am on a diet. :lmao: ....I just had some ice cream and now I am ready for some cake.
I'm on a diet too! Although you wouldn't know it the way I've been eating lately. :rolleyes1

I'll take two!
Stacie, yes, those were the fritters.

I finished my shirt, and it turned out fine.
YAY!! I think Melody was going to bring some things to bling the shirts with, but not sure if that's still happening.

Oh cool! :cool1: How old are your twins? Michaela will be so excited. She loves making friends! Just like me! :rotfl:
They are 8, my older dd is 12 and my son is 14. The older two want to stay home and watch tv and play video games. lol

Ok, is it just me, but when I first saw the brownie I thought it had worms on it. Yech~! (Everything else looks delish, except I'm with Kelly--no onions!)
LOL It's got shaved chocolate on it, but it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Oh, and I picked the onions off and the knockwurst was pretty good.

Don't make me FoRK you Up:lmao:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just think 2 weeks from right now we'll be eating pizza and munching on lots of candy. :woohoo:
Oh yeah! I'm loving it!! :cool1:

OK. I've got a friend that is a DISer I met on the first ladies only trip I did to WDW. She is working on possibly joining us for a few days, so if she's able to, I'll put her in your friends spots for the breakfast and the hunt.

Morning ladies!! I'm getting the kids ready for school but just wanted to pop in to say hi. Talk to you later.
Oh, and anyone else need the Shutterfly account info?? It's a great place to see other people's pics after the trip and keep them all private and in one place so they don't get lost in a thread. PM me if you need the password.
Later!

Sad thing is.. it's a winnie the pooh FoRK.
YeP, that's me.. RoCkiN' the ganGstA pooH
You can be C. RoBBiNs
we be a TeAm, BaBeY:thumbsup2

This might just be the funniest thing I've ever read!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have always referred to the 100 acre wood crew as Pooh and the gang. But now, I can't help but think of Pooh rockin' a Flava Flav clock around his neck and Tigger wearing Left Eye's glasses and the whole gang packin' guns and knives! This visual is going to take a long, long time to leave my brain. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get Ty out of his crib in his pooh gansta themed nursery!

Maybe you should have been on the "Don't be Cheeekin" team. :lmao:

Her Mom is on the Cheekin' team--it obviously runs in the family!

No fair! I never got the email about it!!!! What's up with that!

Sarah

Sarah: I just re-checked the email that was sent and you were on the distribution list, so not sure why it didn't get to you. I just re-sent it to you--let me know if you get it, ok?

Great picture! LOL:rotfl2:

I need Shutterfly info, por favor. Muy gracias, chica.:flower3:

I will be working on the phone lists this weekend. I am not sure how many to make.:confused3

One for each confirmed person or one for each person who has their number listed?

Based on a couple of questions--yes, you can submit more than one possible name! The most important thing is that we come up with the "best" name for our girl!

I love some of the ones already submitted . . . . this is not going to be an easy decision!

Hi! Did you get my PM? Do you want her back so you an bring her on Thursday?:confused3 I won't be there until Friday night.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. That's why I didn't order one. I'm just so hard to fit.

Good luck finding a white tee. I still haven't found one. The closest one I found to a plain white tee had a huge V-neck which probably wouldn't work for the transfer because Tink would be down on my stomach. And I found one but it had buttons all the way down the shirt.

So my search continues this weekend. If I was a teeny, tiny size 4 it probably wouldn't be so hard.

I got my shir at Michaels. They had regular t-shirts and fitted ones. I got the fitted one. It is kinda thin but I have a pink tank-top to wear under it. The Tink came out good I just need to Bedazzle it. :rotfl:

Who on earth would flame you for using WIC? It's there to be used. Before people are judgmental, they need to think about how their life could be (especially in this economy) without enough money to take care of basic needs. I'm glad the nurse at the office was able to help you.

I find it interesting that all of us have doctors that blew us off. I'm not sure what to make of it. I know the AAP is worried about parents losing trust in their docs. Stories like this make me think well no wonder! I think most docs mean well, I just think developmental delays are really glossed over in medical school.

I hope everyone is having a great night!

Let's just say there are certain things you don't mention on a certion board on the dis...After defending myself to complete idiots (well that's the nicest thing I can think of), I realized who gives a rats butt what they think.

I think that some doctors just think that kids will grow out of it. Or assume that maybe you will make an appt with a specialist or something.

i'm really looking forward to just relaxing at the pizza party and visiting.. alright.. i'm very thrilled with the candy buffet..:rotfl: there you have it.. i've always wanted to live in a willy wonka movie.

Hey Hey Heyyyyyyyyyyy.. no OOooOOmmPa LooMpaH comments.:clown:

I love the Ooompa Loopmas!!
I can't wait for the pizza party!

Great picture! LOL:rotfl2:

January, hold off on the phone lists if you can for another few days. There are some who have yet to confirm their number and I want to make sure they are all accurate. I already had one change, so I will PM you with the updated and final list.
As for amounts, I'd make one for each person on the list and then maybe 5 or so extras just in case. Thanks!!

So, I'm sick AGAIN! I'm getting really tired of this! I have a nasty cold. If it's not one thing it's another. But, that's why I haven't posted about my bday at DLR. I've been primarily in lurker mode.

Anyway, dropped of Riley and friend at school on Tuesday at 7:30 and then Ethan and I headed up to DL. It was icky. When we drove around the curve on I-5 right before the car pool lane exit to DL, I was dismayed, there was a dark dark line of clouds above DL. AND, it was pouring. We got parked and onto the trams, where we had to move in towards the middle because (a) the rain was blowing in on the sides and (b) there was standing water on the seats of the tram! Then, the heavens opened up while I was standing in line to get my free pass. Then, I tried to upgrade my pass and finance the rest, and I wasn't able to do that because I didn't have anything that proved I was a SoCal resident (I thought my AP that I already had would be enough. It would have been enough to get a SoCal pass, but DL contracts with another company about the financing, and they require it.) But, magically, as I walked through the gates (Ethan went ahead of me to get Space fast passes), the rain magically stopped! While we were waiting for the tram, I had called Tracey to see if they would mind two more on their Minnie breakfast. They (claimed....you never know!) that it would be great to have two more, and a perfect way to celebrate bday. So, we met up with the whole family at Minnies. We had a great time. Her youngest was totally into the characters, she even got a couple of pics of Ethan and I. The food was great, and the company was even better! And, we got (I'm assuming left over) Valentine pins (the kind for trading) at Minnies.
We then went with Tracey and her older son to go on a few rides (while her DH took the younger one on a couple of rides). We tried Peter Pan but the line was ridiculous. Then we went to Snow White, Small World (I love the new one! I think the characters give you a new experience, wondering if "such and such" character will be in such and such country!), and Space. Tracey and I then went to meet up with the extended family at Pixies, while the boys went on Buzz. The family was way far back in the Pixie line, so we said our good byes.
Ethan and I then wandered over, got hot chocolate and went on Pirates. Then we decided we were going to go on the monorail and head out (I had to be back in SD by 3:30, so we had to leave early). We got to the monorail right as it was leaving and got to sit in the pilot's car! Whoo hoo! And, Ethan had never been on the DL monorail.
I had a great time. Though, I must say, since the bday buttons are so prevalent this year, I didn't get nearly as many bday wishes from cast members. Almost none that were on the rides, only a few that were anywhere else. Oddly enough, it was CM's just walking from one place to another, like down main street, that I got the most comments from.
Oh, and yes, I did wear my tiarra!

Just to clear up any confusion on the Shutterfly account, this is not something you pay to do. It's free. You don't need to sign up for anything.

All you do is go to www.shutterfly.com and click on member's sign in. From there you enter the email address and the password. (PM me for those)

Then you can view all the photo albums from last years trip and also once this trip is over you can see all the pics from this year as well. You do not have to upload any of your own if you don't want to, but it's a great way to see what others took.

If you want to upload some of your pics, that's fine too. Again, it's free and easy and you can upload 2 or 3 pics or 200 pics. It's up to you. :thumbsup2

Michelle, sorry to hear you are sick again.

I'm glad the rain stopped for your b-day! Sounds like it was a nice time and that you had fun with Tracey. :goodvibes

Oh, I also wanted to let everyone know that Walgreens has Lime Green colored tank tops for 5 for $10! If people want me to, I could pick up a bunch, just PM me. I thought it would look cute over a white tshirt or something.

Today's session was soooo much better! I was more relaxed, we talked some about Nathan, and she gets it! :cool1: I'm always worried that other people don't see what I do, but she does and she's given me great tips to help him along. As long as we are moving forward, I am good. Nathan is a great person, and I want him to be the best Nathan that he can be.

Jane, my ped was exactly like yours, older, laidback, loved him. He blew me off at Nathan's 18 month appointment in August. In November, I couldn't wait any longer, and I referred him for an evaluation through our states early intervention program. Listen to your gut, and think hard about things. If you feel astrong need to get things looked at do it! You know your child better than anyone.
Amen to that sister!! My oldest had a learning disability.

The first year, we were talked into holding him back. After that year, he was still having problems. I insisted on another test, and looked at what they had checked off on their list. The problem that I thought he had, was not checked off. Audiology processing. I told them, that I wanted him checked for that too. Well it turned out the problem he had was in the area that I insisted he get checked on. Within one year of resourse, and working with the teachers, they caught him up, even to his age level again. To this day he still has this problem, but has learned to deal with it.

So as a mother, you know your child better than anyone. Go with the gut feeling!!! :thumbsup2

(and Melody--did you want a headband?)
Yes, if is not too late!

I can't stand being alone when my husband is out of town.
It's already dark here and I've gone upstairs for the night.
When the dogs start barking like crazy at the front door.
So i go down and it's some guy wanting to talk about lawn care.
Whatever for that..we have mountain landscaping with rocks taller than me. There is *NO* lawn to mow.

I didn't open the door, but now he knows i'm here alone.
Creeps me out.

hhmmmmm... :headache:
Tomorrow i'm going to stay the weekend with my parents til Bob gets home late sunday night.
I'm with you babe!! I can not stand it either. But, I'm also in the country! Anybody who comes to my door had better have a good reason, and it usually is just UPS!!

DH just called...I told him I was looking at porn. :lmao:

He didn't know how to respond until I let him off the hook! :rotfl:

Yummm! :yay:
:rotfl:

Okay here's a picture of our puppy Vash. Sorry that it's of him on his papers...:rotfl2: But it's the best picture I have of him right now. Now I need to catch up with the posts for today. I'll be back on in a bit.

Hi! Did you get my PM? Do you want her back so you an bring her on Thursday?:confused3 I won't be there until Friday night.

I'm sorry--have been swamped and read your PM really fast and thought you were just doing it. Yes, please send "her" to me for Thursday--and Michelle already wants "her" on the Monday of the Girls' trip to celebrate her DD's birthday! So, I'd better get a calendar started!
