Girls Only Disneyland Trip!! Old thread. New link in first post

So guess who's keeping me company here in Vegas right now???

Bethlet!!!

She was with us during Fantasmic and somehow got stuck in the bag with my blankets and hitched a ride home with me. A doll after my own heart.......she managed to find a way to Sin City. LOL

While I was gone, Ruben arranged for his parents to spend another night here in town and booked a hotel for us tonight somewhere (he won't say where, only that it's a surprise) and also got tickets for us to see Phantom of the Opera tonight. So now that I am all unpacked, I need to pack again for overnight.

That's fine. I'm excited to go out. I missed everyone and it will be nice to spend some time with him alone tonight and then we have some fun things planned to do with the kids this weekend.

I think Bethlet might hit the Strip with us tonight.

Aww...how nice!! Take pics of Bethlet around the strip. Have fun at Phantom. I really want to see that one, Les Mis & Lion King.

Hi Ladies - Alright so I don't know any of you but I WOULD HAVE LOVED to go on the trip this year - so my hope is that you will plan another next year and that I can swing going with getting time off work and all those fun scheduling conflicts!

Its been great reading about all your fun times and plans and friendships started and wow, I can't wait to go someday on a group trip with fellow DISers! Anyone female can go, right?

Hi there!! I wish I could go back right now. It was so weird to wake up this morning to "real life" and not be getting ready to hit the parks!

We'd love to have you join us on the next one. Anyone female can go, any age (over 18), any size, married, single, kids, no kids, etc. And for anyone reading, there WILL be another one next year. There's no doubt about that. We don't have dates yet, but any info on that will show up in the thread title so keep an eye out.

I didn't do any tours, but thanks to the ladies who did arrange them too.

To Cheryl, Stacie and Michelle!! You guys outdid yourselves on the Pizza and Tote welcome party. It was wonderful, and I appreciate all the time and energy spent getting it all ready for us. The best!!
And it really helped with getting our faces matched to our screen names!!! Thankyou!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with so many of you. It seemed like, I was able to spend alot of time with everyone at some point. That was nice.

To those of you who have expressed their thanks for the scavvy hunt, it was a joy to do. I'm glad it turned out pretty good, considering we were cluelesss on the time allowed, and how many questions to ask. Whoever takes over next year have fun!! We did!!!

I wish I could go through everyone individually, but I type super slow, and make alot of mistakes. But to the Moms who tagged along.............you guys were the best. That was alot of fun meeting you too.

I was trying to figure out my highlights. Too many....................but I really enjoyed going to the Napa Rose lounge after a long day, and just relaxing with a nice glass of really really good wine, (I want to try and find it somewhere), and getting to know some of you better.

Same with the Cove Bar. Very nice just to sit and talk.


Fantasmic was fun, (but I did get quite cold, as some of you know.) I was teased about getting ready for snow.

Getting dreamed on the last day for Midway Mania!! That was meant to be ladies!!!

The fireworks were nice, cuz I finally got to be around some ladies, that I hadn't hardly seen at all yet. But I was truly upset, that they have cut out part of them. The Frontierland, and Big Thunder Mountain section. After a day like Sunday, when they were expecting record breaking crowds, and it was the only day they were showing the fireworks over the weekend, you'd think they wouldn't do that. DL certainly didn't look like they were hurting when we were there! Besides that...no parades either. I'm thinking that they are being pretty stingy at the moment!!

OK............enough rant. Sorry............this was supposed to be a nice comment post!

So once again, thanks for our wonderful time ladies.

There is a new launch today from Disney and I mention it here because it just went live. The price (steep in today's economy at $75) does cover 4 issues of a journal that sells for $15 each, special invitations, discounts and an exclusive (a pin?) and the ability to buy exclusives. I joined for the launch year because I wanted the launch year perks.

I mostly mention it here because it launched about an hour early and because it includes discounts to a 4 day expo at DL in Sept.

The Tinkerbell pin is already back-ordered, so I'm guessing they are getting a lot of hits even this early. Or maybe it was always planned that way and I"m just a Disney sucker. But it might be clogged at noon when the official launch begins.

Thanks for making the arrangements for Cruzin in California. I had so much fun!! I thought a few times I was going to fall, but it was amazing! FUN! I would so do it again.

Do tell! How did you get dreamed?????

There were seven of us, who went up to the single rider line at Midway Mania. We asked how long it would take to get on. The cast member was about to shut down the line, but then he looked at us and asked how many were in our party. We told him seven. He then said follow me, and took us to the front of the line!!! And the wait was 75 minutes for the regular line!!! Probably about 40 for the single line. His name was Nick!! What a nice guy!!!

I was sooooo exhausted yesterday, I didn't unpack......or do laundry......or even turn my laptop on.

I did manage to cook dinner though.

I LOVED seeing everyone SO VERY MUCH! Was that a FUN trip or what?!!!
