Well, that's true. I seem to fall into the mom role often. That should be my tag! "Everybody's mom" :lmao:

What did you do? Are you causing trouble again??
::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Well, if you have time, just let me know. If not, I understand. Two days isn't much time. Guess you'll just have to come back and hang with us in June.

Come on, you know you wanna!!! And you know we'd love to have you join us. :yay:

:
Aw..Thankyou!

I'm glad things are better Capri!

Stacie, I totally think you need a candy buffett at your party, tell 'Mom' we want a big one. :thumbsup2

Things are better around here also. I wish I'd been given antibiotics weeks ago. My throat finally feels better after 3 weeks of pain. I'm still really tired, but can deal with that better now that I feel better! :)

They are having an autism run and resource fair at the U of A today. I wish I had the energy to drag up all to it. I don't, but I did make some calls yesterday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something comes through in the way of more help for my son.

OK, talk with you all later!

Heather

Well, if you are my mom......I graduate in May and would love a party, a awesome gift and a trip. Thanks mom!

I would like to go with her, mom, because you know she will need someone to keep her out of trouble!!

Morning all. Well last night we ended up staying in. Shane just got take out (olive garden believe it or not) IT was YUM! And we just watched an old dvd Six Days Seven Nights. Love that movie! Always good for a laugh!! Then today is spring cleaning. Shane is mowing and I am cleaning up the inside. The hopefully later today we are hitting the dollar movies to see Inkheart and get shelby some new tennies at Payless Shoes. She has worn a hole clean through hers. Anyway so lot's on the books for the day.

Glad to hear from Cheryl and I am jealous of her!!

Capri, glad to hear you are feeling better as are your boys and hope you are ALL feeling even better soon!

Wendy I hope you are off on your trip and on the mend!!

Cristabel I agree sometimes you get burnt out but I am sure one you are away for a bit you will miss it.

This is my LAST trip till the ladies trip so I have to enjoy it and I can brag all I want but you guys don't have too much to be jealous of cuz I am going dreaded spring break week so it is going to be PACKED!!!! Plus it could be hot not sure yet. I am still waiting a bit longer for the 10 day. Of course I am actually looking forward to some warmer weather compared to when WE were there LOL! But anyway I had to actually BUY shane a 5 day pass last night and the girls and I's AP's expire in June. We have renewed them every year since 06 so it will be bittersweet to let them go this year but mom wants to possibly do a cruise this summer after swim team and even if we DON'T do a summer trip Shane wants to do our big ROAD trip next year and even if I DO buy another AP it won't be till the NEXT ladies trip in Feb.

I figure I will buy one then and that way I can use it for THAT trip and then probably we will take the girls on a fall trip after our summer trip cuz THEY won't have been back since this trip now. So we shall see but I have to make THIS one a good one so don't be TOO jealous cuz soon "I" will be the jealous one cuz all of YOU guys will be going on trips and then it will be ME that won't be going for a long time. ;)

Anyway see you guys later! And have a GREAT day!

Just a coincidence huh? Trouble just happens whenever you show up? ;)
Ever watch that old show, Murder She Wrote? You know how in every single episode, no matter where she went, someone died. I found it odd that she never questioned why that was. I mean at some point, you have to ask yourself, does this have anything to do with me??? :rolleyes1 :rotfl: ;)

Does make you wonder

And we'll have to see what your grades are before talking presents young lady. :rotfl:

Trust me, my grades are golden. I was president of the honor society my first time through college. Just saying.

Capri, I'm so glad to hear everyone is on the mend. Take it easy.

Well, I am outta here. Not sure what we are doing today, but Ruben's off so most likely we'll head out somewhere.
I hope everyone has a good weekend. Stay safe and well. :hippie:

Haveaniceweekendladybug.gif

Enjoy your day!!!

Stacie, I totally think you need a candy buffett at your party, tell 'Mom' we want a big one. :thumbsup2

Heather

Oh yeah, got to have one of those. Pretty please mom with sugar lumps on top??

I would like to go with her, mom, because you know she will need someone to keep her out of trouble!!

Or to get in trouble with me. Heck, it could be quite lonely in that jail cell without someone to sit with me you know.

Yea, we heard from Cheryl! Cheryl, today my Tink d23 pin came and the mag and all! So yours is probably at your house. I hope someone is picking up your mail - it came UPS in a thin cardboard box.

(okay, everyone else--)

Ya think Cheryl had some wine with dinner...? She's slurring her speech.... :rotfl2:

(Beth, you are so not Barney Mom)

No--not wine--a glass of Magicale!! and I am getting used to this mini laptop keyboard--it was my fat fingers--not the alcohol!

Lucky. I did have a fruitzita (or whatever its called) from Taco Bell. It was yummy. But I think it would be better if there was rum in it. Just sayin.

Absolutely agree!

Tonight I'm having some drink that's a mojito but made with champagne instead of seltzer--Ill report back.

Went to Spoodles this morning for breakfast then walked around Boardwalk and Beach Club. Took the Friendship boats to Epcot and HS--nice ride. then I was tired so came back to SSR, picked up a sammy (and Mickey bar) for later and filled up my refillable cup and came back to the room where I am typing this. Pedro the maintenance guy has been here twice to snake the toilet--someone ( a kid probably) had put a bar of soap down it so it didn't have that supersonic flush they normally have! He got it fixed on the second try. Hopefully that's the only snake I'll see.

tonight is California Grill--I would cancel but they would charge my credit card so I'm going--but early to have a drink in the lounge and watch wishes,=-I think I'm going to try the sushi. That will mean fish three nights in a row!!! What's wrong with me?

Anyway, I hope those who are ailing (including Capri, her family, Wendy and Molly's friend) do better soon and that everyone else is good. It is warm and humid here and has been threatening rain--but none yet!

Cheryl

Cristabel, you sound quite frustrated. I am so sorry. :sad2:I guess the triple threat hit DL. Fireworks, Fantasmic, and a brand new parade. Add to that Spring Break, and you have Trouble with a capital T. Wonder how Amysue is doing?

I was quite frustrated. First of all, we didn't leave at 6:15 like I wanted because I had two sick people in tow (that caused a lot slowing down) and then when I tried suggesting we get fast passes for rides, they moved like molasses. I see now that I really enjoy going to Disneyland with other Disneyland enthusiasts who don't just wander around but are down with the fast pass game. We went on a total of 4-5 rides, went to innoventions, and saw Aladdin.

I'm right there with ya, Cristabel. Except I'm on hiatus until 2012. I just saw the new Celebrate Parade on youtube, which confirms that I really don't need to go back anytime soon. Ick.

The crowds were unbelievable, they made me want to pull my hair out.

We are doing the same. We are going back for our anniversary in April, just becasue we get a free 2 fer for my B-day. Then we are waiting until the fall to get our AP again. It's just too busy and hot and not fun in the summer-time.

Exactly!

I'm sorry. That sucks. I cannot stand Disneyland when it's hot and crowded. It sucks all the fun out of it.

Also not going with savvy Disneyland people makes it rough.

Cristabel - That's a bummer about the traffic and crowds. Take a break until the crowds slow down again.....or until you feel the urge to go again. There's nothing wrong with taking a break from time to time. :thumbsup2

What I like is that if (and mostly when I do) get my Disneyland AP, I will be 15 minutes away :cloud9: So no traffic for me!

Well, if you are my mom......I graduate in May and would love a party, a awesome gift and a trip. Thanks mom!

Mom! I graduate in June, what about me?!

Oooh, Magicale :lovestruc Very nice! Have a great time (and maybe another glass of Magicale for me :thumbsup2). Here's to no more snakes of any kind!

Absolutely agree!

Sounds very relaxing so far......something you need for sure!

Have a great dinner at California Grill tonight. Sushi though?....well okay, I guess if that's what you like. You might want to have a couple drinks in the lounge before the sushi. If I was there with you, I might try a little sushi. I've only had sushi that came on a big tray from Costco, and I didn't like it very much. I think what I don't like is the seaweed part.

Is it super crowded there from the spring breakers?

Absolutely agree!

I wish you could see how jealous I am. I'm living through you right now. The Cali Grill is in my top five at WDW. The sushi there is very good. (Capri, if the only sushi you've had is from Costco, I'd say you still haven't had sushi. The fresh stuff at a restaurant is soooo good. The seaweed gets stronger the longer it sits.) I can see Cheryl in my mind sitting at the grill drinking her cham. mojito watching Wishes. :goodvibes Cheryl, you really should've taken me.

I just went through the boys clothes and made a Goodwill bag. Who knows when I'll get out there though. Nolan has more clothes than I do, but Nathan's stash is sparce. I'm sure my mother will correct that next week though. :thumbsup2

I'm going to rest up for a while now and play with my boys. I don't want to overdo it now that I'm feeling a little better.

Kelly, it sound like you had a nice night.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Heather

Just stopped by to say a quick hi! Dealing with my back, Ethan's now fractured finger, life in general and trying to get ready for Vegas next week.
I can't wait to go back to my happy place with my Zoe girl and Kelly and her fam. Not that far to go now!!!

It's just around the corner. :yay:

Take it very easy with your back (and your foot). Be vewy, vewy caweful.

Good afternoon

Mom freaked out as there was a package on the step. D23 tube with one end cap missing. Took me a while to get it out. It was a letter, letter of authenticity, and a 20 x 30 lithograph on archival paper of Mickey painting something. It was artwork from the 80th anniversary.

I got my new phone. It came with 4 batteries! So either the seller is very nice or the phone uses the battery up very fast. I assume the latter because it uses a lot of juice to run all those cool things.

:dance3:

Of to watch The Cosby show with my sickie sister

Hi All,

I had to go back to the Container Store because one of the displays was broken. Now I'm looking through my new entertainment book for coupons for a restaurant for DH and me for tonight. That book is so cool, can't believe I'm just learning about it.

Heather, please don't overdo... (if I may say). It's so easy to relapse...
Okay, mommy mode off.

No--not wine--a glass of Magicale!! and I am getting used to this mini laptop keyboard--it was my fat fingers--not the alcohol!

;) Jus' teasin'...

Did you get to see the fabulous greeters at BC? We loved staying there. And I hear Spoodles might go, so it's great you got to experience it.

So Cal Grill makes you stick to their res 24 hour ahead? Well, fish is good for us.

I was quite frustrated. I tried suggesting we get fast passes for rides, they moved like molasses. I see now that I really enjoy going to Disneyland with other Disneyland enthusiasts who don't just wander around but are down with the fast pass game.

The crowds were unbelievable, they made me want to pull my hair out.

Cristabel, you said it! it makes such a difference going with people like the Divas who know how to move through the park.

And the day I went a couple of weeks ago, the heat and crowds made the experience 180 degrees different from our Diva week, which was so pleasant. You can always bundle up against the cold here, but there's nothing you can do about the heat. (other than walk around nekked) :scared1:

I've only had sushi that came on a big tray from Costco, and I didn't like it very much. I think what I don't like is the seaweed part.

Capri, (hope everyone is feeling better), sushi is an acquired taste. But still, Costco sushi... don't judge all sushi by that. There are kinds of sushi you can get that do not use much seaweed.

Just stopped by to say a quick hi! Dealing with my back, Ethan's now fractured finger,

Hi! I hope your back is healing well. I know what that's like.

Then we are waiting until the fall to get our AP again. It's just too busy and hot and not fun in the summer-time.

Makes sense, Kerry.

This is not a parade that will last for years, but while they are working on the next set of floats, I think it is a good filler inner.

I guess it is what you call "differnent strokes for different folks."

I have a feeling it is more about "what can we do that won't cost much money?"

Nope, I'm not causing trouble. It just happens when I'm arounnd:angel:

TAG FAIRY!

I love wine tasting. In Leavenworth they have wine tasting, it is so fun!!
Its a cute little German town.

Where is Leavenworth?

I'm trying not to overdo it D, it's so hard though when this house needs my TLC! Resting before I had children had a totally different meaning. :thumbsup2 I hear what you're saying about relapsing though. How are things going with you? Any new news?

OK, I've rested long enough, I'm off to do some organizing in my room. It only I had a magic wand...

If you don't mind me asking, what area did you get your's for (you can email me too if you prefer)? The Ventura County one is not great and the Santa Barbara one always sells out so quick!

We loved staying there. And I hear Spoodles might go, so it's great you got to experience it.

ACK! NOOOOOO!! Spoodles can't close. I love it there. Honestly we had a day start really badly and it turned around only because we went to Spoodles for breakfast. Their waiters there are amazing. Not too overbearing, but also don't ignore you.

Capri, (hope everyone is feeling better), sushi is an acquired taste. But still, Costco sushi... don't judge all sushi by that. There are kinds of sushi you can get that do not use much seaweed.

Definately agree! I was a semi-fan before, but then went to this place in Santa Barbara for a work thing and Oh My Gosh, it was so good. Especially the Yellow tail - was amazing. The only really good thing at costco are their hot dogs, and they are changing those. :(

Where is Leavenworth?

It's in Eastern Washington. It's really cute and gets uber busy at Christmas time. Worth the trip if you are ever up that way. Though, I don't like the cold so I prefer Solvang, CA.

I'm officially on hiatus from Disneyland until late August.

Traffic was horrible today! Took us 1 hour & 45 minutes to get there and 2 hours to come back. Sadly I didn't really have to much fun :confused3 it just didn't run smoothly, it was crowded, and it was hot. It's good that my AP is expiring, I think I need a break.

good night, I'm exhausted.
Bummer! Disneyland in the heat and with crowds is no fun!

Cheryl - Hope you're having an AWESOME day at WDW today! :woohoo:

Christabel - That's a bummer about the traffic and crowds. Take a break until the crowds slow down again.....or until you feel the urge to go again. There's nothing wrong with taking a break from time to time. :thumbsup2

Wendy - I really hope you're feeling better today. :wizard:

Melody - Your Vegas trip sounds like so much fun! :yay:

Molly - I hope your friend has a speedy recovery and a long, healthy life!

I'm feeling much better today, thank goodness. Yesterday was just horrible. I was in so much pain! And our poor boys.....aye, aye, aye.:sad2:

Justin was running around trying to take care of us all. I was in my bed, Ryan was in his bed, and Luke was downstairs on the couch. And.....I couldn't believe it.......JUSTIN DID THE DISHES TOO!:cheer2::eek:

Me, well as I said, I'm doing much better, but now I'm afraid to eat much of anything. I did eat some yogurt and a banana yesterday evening. I think I'll stick with simple and easy to digest for a few days.

Ryan is doing better this morning. The doctor prescribed him an antibiotic and some numbing drops for his infected ear. He was so sick last night though. I kept telling him that before long he'll start feeling better. He just needs to give his new medicine time to work. Well this morning he woke up with a smile on his face and said he didn't feel sick anymore. He also drank a Capri Sun juice pouch this morning.....the first anything (other than water) that he's had in awhile. I am so relieved!

Luke seems better too. At least he's acting okay. I hope that continues.

Okay, that's our sick saga for today. Exciting reading, I know. ;)
Capri, I'm glad things are looking up in your house!

Absolutely agree!

Thanks for the update! I have not been to California Grill yet. It is on my list for our next trip. Just not sure when that wil be...........
