Girls North Face Denali Thermal

My daughter is 13 and loves the fuzzy ones. This will be her second one. As far as the regular fleece she likes the Columbia ones better!

My DD15 wants a North Face Denali for Christmas. Can't find one discounted anywhere ($165). Is it really worth $165 for what I basically see as a fleece? Obviously I don't have one, but I can buy her a down coat right now for $80.

Our 12 yr old dd wants the OSO. She said she'd go with a different Northface if it was cheaper, but I think we'll do the OSO. I don't want to buy something and have her not want to wear it. She really hasn't asked for anything else, so it's all good.

Now the frugal side of me is going a little nuts. Lands End had a fleece material similar to the OSO for like $39 bucks. I don't understand why North Face is so high, but whatever.

They have womens ones at Altrec.com for $89.99. They only have them in blue, sizes xs,s, & m. I got mine yesterday & I love it, the color is great.

I just got my daughter the Northface Denali Thermal from Sports Authority for $59.97 with .99 shipping. Not bad and it's the only place that had it in black in her size. Almost all other online places that have a sale price are sold out of her size.

The kids XL are very big. I think they'd easily fit a med sized woman or teen.
I ordered the XL for DD13 and I'm pretty sure its gonna be huge, but atleast she'll get lots of wear out of it.
