A solution for low cut v-necks is to wear a cami under it. Old Navy has long ones that are made for layering (very thin).

I wish that more designers would make 'normal' looking clothes for this age range as the clothing that I sometimes se my niece in are eye popping. But this is what's marketed and sold.

Even my dd says that they are too short. Is it that children really like this fashion or is it more or less that they have nothing else to choose from?

If I find them long enough, they fall off of her. As it is now I am forever telling her to pull her pants up because her underwear is showing.

Not only is there the 'hootchie/sleaze' clothing, but some poor misguided designing/merchandizing souls out there think resurrecting 70's style clothing (the '70s were a fashion *!*!hole
) is actually stylish. Gauchos, anyone?!
Yikes!!!!!Marseeya said:That is a good idea; I'm just not sure about it in the Florida heat. We're going down in the beginning of June and the weather here in PA has been relatively cool, so I don't think we're going to get a chance to adjust to the heat.

We are having a really hard with our oldest DD who is 15. She is 5' 5" and only 100 lbs. So ladies sizes are often too big and Jr's too small. We have had luck with jeans but now that summer is upon us, we have not been able to find shorts!
All shorts are now down to the knees (which she hates) or they let your butt hang out (and she does not want hoochie shorts!!)
I think our only hope for this summer is for it not to get very warm! Good thing she goes to a school where she has to wear a uniform - we are good until July!

The best part is that their sale area in the back is usually 50% off the clearance price and we get tons of shirts for $5.00/each. Love that place!!

DD and I love shopping!
