Last night was my DD's birthday party. We had about 15 girls here and all was going great. (13-14 year old girls). Until the last half hour. It seems two of the girls were mad at each other, which then turned into all the other girls taking sides and it turned into a mess. Thankfully, but the time the parents started coming to pick them up, things were calmer, but WHY IS IT a group of girls who are all friends always manage to get into some kind of conflict? Drives me nuts.

My DD is 14 & there is always some sort of arguement going on among her friends. There are a couple of girls who seem to need the drama & the rest are along or the ride. Makes me crazy too....I always advise DD to stay neutral if possible!

I had an argument break out at my then-nine-year old's birthday party. two girls who were friends wound up in an argument. it wasn't pretty. but at 9 it was controllable. now those girls are 11 in 5th grade, and things ar emore complicated.

I'd hate to have to intervene with my 7th grader's friends.

It's not even just the older kids. I had twelve girls at my house for my DDs 7th birthday and within five minutes of arriving two of the girls were arguing. They kept sniping at each other during the whole party - at 7! Guess I can't hope it will get better with age!

Actually, boys are not that great either. They tend to take sides and pick on others, too. URGH!

Well, I guess that makes me feel a little better, knowing they can be rotten too.;)

you women tear each other up, but all of you unite to proclaim to the world that men are dogs

LOL!!!!!

NEVER, EVER, NEVER invite more than 1 teen girl into your home at one time......don't you know the RULES?!?!...jk,LOL;)

Girls can be quite vicious, IMO. Well, women can too...

I find boys easier on this level....they tend to just beat the snot out of eachother and move on...
