So. Today was apparently "Hound Patti about asking John out" day.

The first was Ryan. I was going to take a warm-up javelin throw and Ryan asked me when I was going to ask John out and I said "I dunno". and then he said "Well, I think he's like me and he's not going to realize you like him until you ask him, and if you ask him he'll say yes." so I said I'd think about it just to shut him up.

The second was Beth. We were walking towards discus and she turns to me and says "you and john are cute together- in the way that Sam and I are cute together- we just fit. We're both crazy and you two...just fit" and I said "so, we fit like you and sam being crazy because we toss obscure wrestling references into every day conversation just to see if the other will notice" and she smiled, nodded her head and said "yep, pretty much".

Third was Megan. We were throwing shot and she said that if she beat me, I'd have to ask John out (I didn't agree to this, BTW). She beat me. And I don't know if that's a sign or what. Maybe it is.

Also- my horoscope was practically hinting at it, too. "As the crab, your shell exterior doesn't always appear hard. Sometimes it looks like beautiful manners that keep others at a safe distance. Someone who loves you is intent on getting past all of that and under your skin." John managed to do that today when he ran the 200 because I asked him to. Come to think of it, he does a lot of things because I ask him to.

And finally, I got to jump-hug him today (and I almost got a piggy-back ride) because he PR'd in all of his events and he made Wilderness in long jump. So we celebrated by me giving him a hug.

Oh...my...goodness

Last night was probably the most amazing night of my life. It was our Freshmen Sophmore semi-formal and i went with this awesome guy that I've known forever and liked just as long. We spent all night being super couple-ish and cute and stuff and then at the end of the night he just looked in my eyes and asked me to be his girlfriend

Yay!!! I am so happy it is Sunday morning!! Last night was my "very-soon-to-be-boyfriend's" prom. Ahh he called me the second he got home at 12:30. Then texted me again at 4 and said hey, im home again. So im guessing after parties. hahaha i dont really care cause its all over with. The prom was the only thing keeping us from dating.

i was talking to my friend jarrad last night. he is really sweet. i talked about it before, but yesterdy was crazy. i tend to "mom" my friends, if you know what i mean, and when i correct them im always like, no babe, its _____. or hon, thats not right. i try to watch myself when im talking to certain people, and jarrad is one of them.

this is our conversation (texting, not talking, but i do it then too)

me: i said im so tired right now, babe. i could fall asleep right here!

im just steering him away from that, slowly but its working.

he confuses me, a lot. but in that totally good way, that gives you butterflies!

haha. but the thing is that we aren't going out. in fact im pretty close friends with the girl that broke up wtih him last week. it was unexpected and we've talked a lot since then, and its been really funny lately.

I'm upset right now, and its not really for a good reason either. Okay so Heath, which I've mentioned many times on this thread, plays tennis and he went to state. They left earlier today around 12pm, its about a three hour drive. Anyways he texted me about an hour ago and told me that they made it there and they did the competing for the day and he was going to bed cause he was really tired. Well my friend Alyssa goes to his school and plays tennis also. So she was there. I texted her and said Hey what you doing? She said nothing watching Tyler(her boyfriend) and Heath act a fool in the hot tub.
My first reaction was. ohmygosh your kidding right. But i kept it cool... well tried. I'm kinda upset cause he lied to me... its just not like him.

background (already posted on here, but if you didnt see it, here it is): i like this guy, and he has a girlfriend. he also likes me, but only a little. this is his first girlfriend, and he thinks hes in love with her.

him and his girlfriend had a fight today. i dont know how its going to turn out, and i dont know if im happy about it or sad, because i really care about him and i dont want him to be hurt. im leaning towards hoping theyll get over it, but that hurts me. im just confused.

UPDATE!!: him and his girlfriend are all better now. i still dont know how i feel about the whole thing...

Today sucked. I barely got to spend much time with him (musicals over, so we have our normal classroom in period 1 &3, and I don't sit near him, and my math teacher is back today, which means seating plan is enforced).
And I we were talking before English, and the conversation got effed up because everything he was saying I was misunderstanding, and vice verca.
And then when we were leaving school, he said hi, and I replied and he told me I was too negative and sounded angry when I said it.
and he didn't sound happy.
Ugh. I hope tomorrow is better. I have three days off this week, and I don't want a long weekend filled with bitterness.
