I will not even delve into so-called, "children's movies" on the big screen; other than to ask is it no small wonder that a young child would be obsessed with their looks after seeing the Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Pochahantas etc. 10 or 15 times?!?(not to mention the books, posters, window shades, toys etc. that parents will enforce the story's message with)
So much of society thinks it's "cute" when little girls want to be princesses, but we never think to ask why they may want to be one. We also seldom ask them if they wouldn't rather be a queen of their own domain.

i really don't think that the princess movies (or anything disney princess) is bad enough to be banned. i think that its a fun imaginary thing that little girls love to think about. wat girl didn't want to be a princess?? lol. i really don't think that seeing those movies would be bad for a girls' self image. sry that this post is so long!
