Giordanos & Restaurant.com?

I heard Giordano's filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Feb. Are they still accepting the Restaurant.com certificates?

WHAT!!!???!!! Are you kidding me? This place has the best pizza in the world!!! I have 2 restaurant.com coupons that we were going to use on our trip in 3 weeks!

if they are closed, I will be devestated. I was so looking forward to this place. We haven't eaten at Giordanos since we were in Chicago in 2008. My hubby tells EVERYONE about that pizza.

Please someone let us know if its still open. Online, it still looks like its open, but that could be wrong. I looked up the ones in Chicago and they are already closed! Thats blasphemous!

We ate at a Giordano's in the Chicago area tonight. So as far as I know they are open for business. I know they had a sign up saying that the bankruptcy wouldnt effect the restaurant and their business.

I did see that they were operating as usual, but we all know they say that and then 2 weeks later they close as with many businesses these days. I DID just call Giordano's in Lake Buena Vista. They are still taking the restaurant.com certificates. You just have to make sure to go to the one your cert. is for. I have one for Apopka Vineland Rd (SR 535) by DTD there. If you are going in 3 weeks you should probably be OK. I am going mid to late June so I hope it is still open by then. You just never know.

Joseph Beth Bookstore built a brand new store here and then 6 months later filed BK. They claimed our local store is doing well and will remain open yet you could tell they are shuffling stock around to make it look like they are re-ordering things when they aren't. The Bistro in there also closed. A local reporter did some digging and saw that in their HQ state they had gone to the courts to allow them to close/liquidate our local store

So it can happen any time any where and they aren't going to tell you because they want whatever business they can get before they belly up.

If they do stop taking them, Restaurant.com is great about letting you get another certificate to replace it. I have had a few go under now!

They do. Or, rather, they did. Last time we had one delivered was in 2009.

WE were there 2 weeks ago and used a certificate, it was packed and really good.

I used mine in Port Richey FL for that location just a few days ago. You should be just fine, I had no issues at all.
