Giordanos Restaurant.com $25 coupon

Hello I'm just looking for some advice on buying a Giordanos $25 coupon off Restaurant.com

Do these EVER become available??

Every time I check they're sold out and although the $10 one will reduce the bill a little we will be spending around $60 so I was hoping to buy a $25 dollar one.

We aren't visiting until August so I still have time to keep checking if I'm not wasting my time!

I did buy one about two years ago when we did the Universal/Sea World side of Orlando. We didn't end up using it but they don't expire anymore so I'm not too worried about it. Keep trying, they do restock!

they usually restock the first of the month so keep checking the site on the first week of the month.
One little hint someone on these boards gave once was:
they do not give discounts on any of the restaurants for the first week or two of the month so if you want to save a bit more you won't with the popular restaraunts.... Unless you play the game...
At the end of the month when there is an 80% discount buy one or two $25 coupons for any restaurant, it doesn't have to be one you will go to.
Call and cancel that coupon and you will have a credit for $25.
Then when the restaurant you want restocks you can use your $25 credit toward that.
Maybe a bit sneaky but I am sure they know people do it.
I did read it here on the DIS boards so quite a few people are doing it.
Personally I don't like Giordano's since they changed the menu because I can't eat pizza and they cut all the good meals and only have chicken or spagetti now so I never have had to use the above method.
I have tried some great places with restaurant.com but all the places I went to no longer participate in the program so I go without a coupon to most of them.

I didn't know about the 80% off at the end of the month. I certainly didn't know about cancelling the coupon and getting account credit to then rebuy your preferred coupon. Great idea although a little sneaky.

I'd live to try it but being in the UK and having to call up puts me off!

Are there any restaurants that come up on the 80% off that are worth trying?

You could also buy a $25 gift certificate and then use it for Giordano's when it is restocked - they often have deals where you buy these at the reduced rate too. I also buy certificates for BB King and for House of Blues at DTD, you have to be sure you are going to buy the min. amount of food to get the deal - read the rules for each restaurant as they are widely different!
