Gino!

Now I'm confused -
Are we talking about our first band we dated -
Or the first concert we attended -
cause I think Rosie's a professional groupie -
and has a few stories there.
Something involving Loverboy? ::yes::
Or was that Styx? ::yes::

I did meet James (DH) when he was in a BAND with my brother..:rolleyes1 I dated the other guitarist too. Humor me and call it dating will you....

I'm ashamed to admit I was still a little swoony. :cloud9:

Did you say swoony or loonie?

Oh, and to clarify it was "The Osmond Brothers FEATURING Donnie & Marie" So we got to hear "Wild Horses" and "One Bad Apple", too. Plus Marie did a couple fo solos. Jimmy too, I think.

Wow. The whole "Wholesome Family Rock Band" was there. :lmao:

My the seventies were a strange time, weren't they?

I have never given up being loonie.

"We're tiny, we're toonie, we're all a little loonie and in this cartoonie we're invading your TV"

Well...my brother was the lead singer, and my brother in law was the drummers (doing both brothers is a no-no) and lastly my sister snagged the other guitarist....

I did the best I could!!!

Oooh, my first concert....
1992 Z100 Stop the Violence with Brian Adams, Richard.... someone.... and Def Leopard. I thought I was soooo cool because it was me and a bunch of friends, and my older bro took us, not a parent! So cool!
Now back to reality.

So now that we know everyone's first concert, what was the last one you went to?
Mine is The Who.... I think... either that or it was some NYHC show that DH made me go to!

Richard Marx, maybe? 1992? Ah yes, the year I got out of college . . .

The last concert I attended? scratch:

Well we saw a few people at the "Eat to the Beat" concert series last year. Villiage People and Juice Newton stand out as quite good.

But REAL concerts? Was it Neil Diamond? No! It was Billy Joel! My third time seeing the Piano Man. I saw him in concert with Elton John on the Face to Face tour, too! :yay:

Well you can stay ::yes:: - But don't try and trip us in our walkers.:sad2:

Or canes as the case may be.

James and I are going to see Elvis Costello and the Police in July. I haven't been to a concert in a very long time....The noise, the crowds....eek! I'm my Mother....:scared1:

I did conceive my daughter Tara after a Squeeze concert..she likes to tell it as having been done at the concert..but I deny that!

Ooooooh, I LOVE Elvis!!!! Saw him about 4-6 years ago in the Asbury Park Conention Center. I LOVE his songs! I remember the first time I saw that movie 200 Cigarets (sp?) and hes in it at the end, I screamed!
I know what some of you are thinking, the girl is pretty young, and into Elvis Costello, The Who... Bruce.... Traveling Wilburies..... What can I say, I like old people music!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I love Elvis Costello too..my eldest daughters middle name is Allison.
As for "old people" music...watch it sister..I can swing this cane quicker than you can blink!

:furious:

Excuse me? OLD PEOPLE Music?

You MUST be referring to Big Bands and such from the 1940s, right?

OK.... how about.... Baby Boomer Music. Or maybe a little younger than that.... how that???

Its just so sad for me though, because I love all these bands, Elvis, The Who, Simon & Garfunkle, Janis, Pearl Jam, Moody Blues, etc, but all I get to listen to is Hannah Montana and HSM!!! And whats even worse is I know all the words and sing them even louder than the kids!!!
Do you think we can start some support group for that?
