Has anyone stayed @ Ginn Reunion Resort? What did you think of it?
Likes & dislikes.

How far is it from the airport?
from WDW?
from Celebration?

Is Celebration worth visiting (limited time)?

What's the closest and budget-friendly supermarket by Ginn Reunion Resort?

Thanks.

I live in the area so can only answer the following questions
How far is it from the airport?-about 25 min
from WDW?-depending how you go about 15 min
from Celebration?-10 minutes, give or take

Is Celebration worth visiting (limited time)?-if you are limited with time you can skip it. It's really just a town with a few shops and restaurants

What's the closest and budget-friendly supermarket by Ginn Reunion Resort?-just up the road is a Publix in Championsgate

Thanks.

We stayed at Reunion in March. Two thumbs up. DH said the golf was really nice. We had a one bedroom condo, which was very well appointed and extremely clean. Lovely linens, flat screen TVs in both living and bedrooms etc.

Reunion has a fantastic waterpark onsite which only resort guests may use. It is extremely clean and alot of fun. There are also quiet pools scattered throughout the property which looked lovely--any empty in favor of the waterpark.

I can't speak much re: the restaurants. We ate most of our meals with our 4 year old in the condo. We did have lunch one of the days near one of the golf courses which was very nice.

My only gripe, and I know this is petty--but here goes anyway--:rotfl2: is that we were greeted without a smile, a hello, a welcome....nada. Just sat down and handed over our credit card and were handed a map and room key. Seriously, I've gotten better welcomes at every single other hotel in my entire life of biz and personal travel etc. Could be just a bad day for the employee but it was very odd.

Happy travels.

We stayed there this Feb ......it beats the pants off Disney moderate/deluxe resorts (apart from location to WDW) IMO.:thumbsup2

We had a fantastic villa with its own pool and it was really beautiful. :goodvibes
The waterpark was so good the kids didn't want to leave to go to the parks !
Whereas I made good use of the free gym & internet.

It took no more than 10-15mins to WDW with a neat shortcut out the back of the resort (Old Wilson Road).

You do have to pay for a pass to use the facilities but it is a fairly nominal amount...though being a cashless resort, this does make it a little for complicated for private rentals (which I believe is cheaper than going through the resort itself).

We found the staff very friendly & helpful - especially around the resort pools. We are not golfers, but we enjoyed this resort so much it is going to be difficult to stay anywhere else now ......though we liked the Omni at Championsgate, just down the road, very much too.

Loved the place and can't wait to return

Call me crazy but I feel like I'm on a real vacation when I'm in a 1 or 2 bdrm hotel condo vs a home. If there is a hotel, is the waterpark area right next to it?
