The very pale Ginger Family will be heading to Disney World in 3 days!

DISCLAIMER: if you will be visiting Disney World from 8/30-9/6, the Ginger Family is NOT responsible for burned retinas caused by our white legs. An even higher risk is associated with viewing us in the Polynesian pool area, as even more white pasty skin will be exposed. Sunglasses are strongly recommended.

Since so many of my DISfriends are showing off their new shoe/sandal purchases, I thought I'd also share some I just bought.

I absolutely love my two pair of Easy Spirit Heelrisers and my Teva Terra Fi-2s. I think I'm going to leave my Crocs at home this trip! Will be alternating these with my Skechers D'Lites.

So far, I've worn the Easy Spirits around the house and out on errands. They are very comfy so far - no blisters as of yet. Will wear them more tomorrow to see.

I'm feeling great - went to my family doc for a follow-up visit and he said I'm doing much better. I'll definitely be taking it easy at Disney!

Farrah - once again, you've inspired me to get my hair cut & highlighted. Same style as last time (I think a bit shorter though). I love it - it will be great in the Florida weather!

Oh those look comfy! i almost bought a pair of Tevas but they were 40.00, and the croc sandles were only 15.00. (Im cheap- LOL)

It's almost 5AM, and I only slept 4.5 hours! I still have to get so much done today ... but I am very excited that my Mom & Barry will be arriving later this afternoon. And guess who still hasn't packed. Just guess! Yes, Jon (DH). I did make sure he has clean clothes, and I picked out his shirts. So the rest is on him!

I'll be getting up to leave in 24 hours!!! Sorry, I cannot contain myself. Hmm... maybe I should go try to nap on the couch before DD wakes up.

I'm off to bed - Granny and Barry arrived safely and we enjoyed the evening while attaching luggage tags, eating dinner and then loading the car. We're getting up at 4:30AM, and then we're off to the airport!

Hi Betsy! Sorry we didnt run in to each other- that kinda sucks! Glad you are home safe. We should return home on Tuesday...we left Disney this morning and are in Daytona for a couple days!
