Just got back from investing in a tent (which I think is just about big enough) so we'll be kipping in that.
And Jules, very poor photo posting efforts young lady!
Not too sure about that - I've yet to try putting the thing up! Will have a practice run some time, just hope the back garden is big enough!!oohhh you bought a tent, you are a proper camper now !
remind me again, how many of us are in the communal party gaff?
oh, and I hope everyone has their party trick ready!
oh i thought everyone could have a 'turn' ready Jules, as long as Kev and Debs do their million dollar dance
and if its just me and Jen callum and Alex in the communal, yay!! party on...![]()
Jules
Did you see the new facilities on the site where we will be. Did you say there was now a shower block and loos there now?
Also will we be able to have a fire? - got to know whether to bring the marshmallows or not
Can't wait - wouldn't it be great if the weather was like this

We're sitting out in the garden and have just been saying the same thing. Can't wait - wouldn't it be great if the weather was like this.
Still Deb here! Party Central is a marquee, Joh. The more we thought about it, the more we realised that, if the weather is like it was last year (i.e. nice during the day, but pouring down at night), sleeping in it might not be a sensible option. The tipis were waterproof and had the fire pits and sheepskin rugs. As far as I know, the marquee won't have any ground sheets and, if it's damp or wet, I'm not convinced it would be a sleeping option. How big is the party tent? And how many people could comfortably sleep in there? Just pondering....
What about electricity? Is the field set up with proper pitches, or is it still just a field?

So, are there electrical hook-ups for each pitch? We bought a cable last year, so trying to work out if we need to bring it (and whether or not we need one for the east and west wings of our tent!)
