I've mentioned this to Carol and Nat, carol is up for it (even with PMT), Nat is horrified. I have this vision of lots of us around the camp fire or BBQ So how many if us have tents and would be up for a DIS camp. We could sing Circle of Life and eat Mickey shaped eggs ! Just one night somewhere lots of us can get to. I am more than happy to organise if anyone is interested. I am thinking of a small site so we could take over a field, rather than a more commercialised one, I am sure we can all bring our own beer.

Probably a mad idea, but it has been eating at me, so thought I should give it a go

I was thinking last bank holiday in May too, come on people get the sleeping bags out, I have a gas stove, so I'll make the coffee, throwaway bbqs are great and we can cool the beer in cool boxes

Great idea so long as you pick a field with a nearby hotel or B&B at the very least, me in tent, noooooooo! doesn' go but I'd be happy to join you and stagger back, even at an ungodly hour, to my comfy bed with own toilet and 'hopefully' no creepy crawlies,

Oh and the last bank holiday in May is my birthday

I am definately interested sounds great. We have our own tent. Count us in. End of May bank holiday will be better for us. I am on annual leave then. We are also fingers crossed going to go camping at DLRP, we will try and book those dates around the camp meet. Us and our 3 minxes.

Any places in mind? Cornwall is nice? or push the boat out DLRP

ooooh! cornwall would be great (if rather convenient!) I never manage to get away without driving /travelling by train for hours so it would be fantastic to all be by the sea!

so it looks like we have some interest, great stuff, what do you think we give it another week or so to see how many are interested, and then go from there. It certainly looks like last May bank holiday is coming out favourite. Maybe, when we have a firm list of interested people,w e can do a little poll or something on where people would like to go. I can just see Carol jumping up and down - Pick Cornwall, Pick Corwall

I really wouldn't mind where we end up but by the sea somewhere would be brilliant (especially if we get nice weather!) and I'll travel anywhere if its a long weekend, we could all aim for the sat/sun/mon but if people have work commitments and can join us for the sun/mon only that would be cool!
