This drink might be available at other locations on the ships, but we don't frequent the bars very much. We didn't actually order it, but I took a photo of the drink menu while waiting to be seated at Remy. The ingredients are:
  • gin
  • muddled cucumber
  • lemon juice
  • Sprite
Given the inclusion of the Sprite, I am guessing that this is really just "gin & tonic (Sprite)," with the lemon juice and cucumber added. Can anyone confirm?

I ask because Google pulls up a "Gin Garden" which is more of a martini than a highball.

Please and thank you!

I wouldn't say it's really anything like a G&T. Sprite is sweet, tonic is not. The muddled cucumber adds a freshness to it that you don't get with tonic and the lemon juice keeps the Sprite from making it overly sweet. There are muddled cucumber martinis (DH had it several times on the Dream) but I can't recall what they called it. Possibly something as imaginative as "muddled cucumber martini". As an aside, both are best made with Hendrick's gin as it is distilled with cucumber so pairs very nicely.

Members of our group had this drink at the Cadillac Bar on the Wonder. It was their favorite drink on the ship. They would say it is much better than a gin and tonic. :flower:
