Me: Funnily enough, not hugely into Disney movies but love WDW.

DH: Tony, Less keen than me, but bless him, usually goes along with what I want as long as I do all the organising and he gets to play some golf and eat in decent restaurants! No MacDonalds for him.

Now I’ve never written a trip report before, and I’m not the most expansive writer, but jet-lag sees me up in the middle of the night so bear with me and here goes…

The day before
We both worked in the morning – not easy to concentrate I can tell you. I took back an hour I was owed so was home by 12.30 and did on-line check-in and got our requested seats. Tony got back soon after.

The driver picked us up at 15.15 and we got to the Gatwick Hilton a little before 17.00. What a dump that place is and really rather dirty. We went to the terminal and bought the obligatory 4 books then had dinner in the Garden Restaurant which had reopened that day – a surprisingly good meal. I slept very little that night – Tony, although he swore otherwise, snored all night long!

Well done for having a go at a trippy Gill. Looking forward to reading more about your holiday. I'm wondering if we were actually in the same vicinity as one another without even realising it ;)
