Is it appropriate to give your travel agent a gift? I absolutely love mine and feel like I should give her a token of my appreciation, but I didn't know if this was ok or not.
I also loved my travel agent. She really helped me plan a majority of my Disney Cruise wedding. I bought mine a mug of her favorite ride and a mickey Mouse calculator. Its a really large one made out of Mickeys era. She loves it and keeps it on her desk for everyone to see. i hope this helps.

As a travel agent, I have received many thoughtful gifts from appreciative clients and guests. Ranging from Disney related items to flowers, candy and restaurant gift certificates. I've worked for both American Express Travel and Disney, they never had a policy about not accepting gifts. Money, however, is another issue. We were never allowed (nor would I even have considered it)to accept cash. I'm not sure about Dreams Unlimited though. But a small token of your appreciation should be fine.

Hey, I sent Pete (the owner of Dreams Unlimitted and the Dis Boards) a PM asking him your question with a link to this thread. I hope he will answer your question; he makes the policy... He probably won't have a problem with a token gift, but I agree; cash isn't cool...I've talked to him a couple of times and he is a very nice fellow...
