Gifts for parents

Hi All,

I am trying to finalize gifts for my very close, omg can't believe how close wedding in October lol- Here is what I have so far? Is this enough? It seems like alot, but its really lots of little things. I am looking for some inspirationp what are you all doing or have done?


My mom:

1. Minnie mouse inspired make up bag with her initial embroidered on it
2. Hair and makeup the day of the wedding
3. Disney PJ'S
4. Mother of the Bride shirt- ordered the rhinestone transfers
5. Minnie ears
6. Minnie shirt
7. Minnie bracelet and earrings
8. Peacock purse for the wedding- those are my colors
9. MNSSHP tickets


Mother in law:

1. Charm bracelet with a charm representing all the wedding events. For instance, I bought Cinderella’s coach since I am riding in it, a Minnie mouse pumpkin head since we are getting married end of October, a fish since our reception is in living seas, so on and so forth

5. MOG shirt-like above
6. Minnie ears

I wanted to do something speacial for my mom, maybe an activity- any thoughts?
Any ideas???

Plus other than the 40th vintage tee for my dad, I have nothing else for him

I think gifts for parents is such a lovely idea,

There's a fee things you could do areound Disney, how about tickets for Cirque du Soleil at DTD, or a small lunch on a cruise from Grand Floridian

I'd Love some ideas too! Right now I'm thinking a spa day before the guests arrive and golf for guys. It's kind of expensive though so I don't know. I'd also be paying for my aunt and uncle bc they will be down early with us as well. My aunt has done a lot of diy projects for me so I have to do something for her too!

As far as your Dad, I wish I could help!! My dad is so hard to shop for.. I think it's a man thing .. Would he enjoy the Petty Driving Experience? Round of golf?

I'm making t-shirts for my family and giving my parents a bridal portrait album of me. Not sure what we are doing for DFi's family yet..

We did personalized cd's of all of our ceremony music, first dance, etc with our engagement pics on the album cover. Plus a bunch of other stuff. This Nov is our 9th anniv. My mom still has that cd out on her counter and plays it all the time.

Dads are tricky guys! I've throughout of putting together a photo book for him, of photos of us together and the family from being a baby to the day, then leaving a few pages blank at the end for photos of me and him on the day, walking the aisle etc

Wow you have really gone way over what I am doing. I have decided to get my parents his/her Disney watches. DF parents...I have no clue, but we might do the same for both.

This is what I got my mom with one of her favorite sayings from when I was little "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living, Your baby I'll be". It was in my wedding colors with our wedding date at the bottom (Custom photo art plaque)

And I got this engraved with two lines from our first dance song, "Walk me down the aisle Daddy, Its just about time" from Butterflly Kisses with our date. Personalized Dad / Father of the Bride Keepsake Picture Frame w/ Choice of Paper
