gifts for 8 and 11 year old boys

I posted this on the family board but i figured it wouldnt hurt to post it here as well...

Since I am havign no luck figuring this out on my own, hopefully maybe you guys will be able to help me.

I want to get hanukkah presents for the 4 kids i used to babysit since I will be goign back to see them during hanukkah.

There are 3 boys (2,8 and 11) and a girl (5). I know what I am getting the 2 year old adn 5 year old but I am completely lost an what to get the older 2.

Since there are 4 of them, I am trying to stay under $20 for each kid.

For the parents of boys, what are you gettign them for christmas???

For inexpensive gifts I have always had luck with Nerg products! My son like the Nerf guns amd targets.

My son is seven and we got him a few things:

The ratatouille cook book for kids
The martian matter alien thingy; although they may not apreciate a potentially messy toy.
Cars on Blue Ray with the two diecast cars

yeah....i thought of those at first but than I forgot that theose are banned from their house now.
The boys kind of decided to use their little sister as tareget practice mor ethan once. That kinds lost them nerf gun privilages...lol
Are there Wii games that both 8 and 11 year olds might like? They love their Wii so I was thinking an alternative might be a Wii game for the 2 of them. Do you think they would be disappointed in having to share a present?

**shoeboxful of batteries, wires, little flashlight bulbs, and small motors--makes circuits. You can get all of it at Radio Shack

**2x4 cut into 12-18" lengths, box of small nails and a small hammer. Home Depot will cut your boards to any length

We did many of these with DS23 and of all these choices the ones he played with most were the box of batteries and the boards & nails.
