I know you can not Tip the CM's (or are not supposed to) but what kind of "tokens" have you shared with the CM's to thank them for a magical visit.

On one of our last trips, I noticed a couple who had given a CM at the World of Disney a small token from NASA-- they stated it was under the $$amount that the CM's could receive, and just wanted to thank the CM for making a magical day.

(Does anyone know what that amount is?)

PS-- I thought that was really nice since the same CM was making my day too!!!!

I believe my sister said they cannot accept anything over $20 in value. They are really discouraged from accepting anything.

On our last trip, December 2004, we took a box of small candy canes and when a CM did something that made our day, or looked like they needed someone to make theirs, we gave them a candy cane and said "Merry Christmas". You would be surprised how many CMs said "thank you so much" and you could tell that they needed to know that they were appreciated too. It also showed our children that it is nice to show others that we appreciate what they do for us to help us have a magical vacation. It is always nice to spread pixie dust to those that work to give us pixie dust.

The candy canes weren't a big thing, but they seemed to make a big difference to several CMs. They made us feel good too!

We took individually wrapped cookies at Halloween and passed them out to those who we appreciate. For the Trolley Dancers we gave them to the handler to hold for them.
