Hello!

My husband and I have been using my sisters DVC for quite some time. I am a listed associate. We paid the loan off for her. It was a direct buy. She can now gift it to us, which is great! I just wasn't sure where to begin or if we had existing reservations if those would be affected? I appreciate any direction!

I would have her contact DVC and find out what the gifting policy is just to make sure that they will allow it.

It may or may not. I suspect that even if MS or Member administration tells you there wouldn't be an issue that it still possibly could happen when it were transferred.

If it's a gratuitous gift between family members the reservations are safe. All you need is a recorded deed and waiver of ROFR to change it over.
