Is it possible to get an ADR and pay for a meal for someone else ahead of time - as a gift?

My sister and her family are going to WDW in a month. She's an accountant and did my taxes. I'd like to pay her back by treating her family to a "Fantasmic dinner package" and pre-pay the whole thing.

Is that possible?

both our daughter and our son got married about five years ago ......and we purchased the Luau for them both when they went to Disney.......we called the desk at the hotel they were staying at and they took care of it.....I am not sure if they still do this but you can call the Hotel they are at and see if it can still be done....

My suggestion is to determine the cost of the Fantasmic dinner package you want to get them and then give them a gift card for the amount (rounded up). When you give her the card, explain what it is for and help her make the ADR.

If something falls through, they can do something else with your gift.

We've done this a few times and my sister gave me a gift card to cover dinner when I planned a trip for her family and her in-laws.

Those are good ideas. I might just do Disney Dollars as well - help them make the ADR and give enough dollars to cover the meals. Or even just suggest the meal option and give them the dollars anyway, they can choose how to spend.

(My sister got me a $12,000 tax refund without charging me a thing :yay: - it is the least I could do :cool2: )
