Gifted Points Now ?

I gave some points to a friend to use for a stay..now..how do I go about booking it
Do I just call MS and make the reservation with their names on it? Do they send me the reservation paper that I then give to them? Is that it? Do they just show up with the paper? They will probably be arriving before us.

you can't really "give" points to a non-member...they can't use them...they can't even contact MS.

so yes, you have to call MS and book a reservation in their names (and with their other information). you will then forward the confirmation to your friends, which they should take with them just to be safe.

Well, yes, poor choice of words. I gifted them the USE of the points for a trip.
Thanks for the answer so quickly! Now hopefully the dates will be open..we are still in our owners window, so hopefully it will be possible.
