Gift Subscription Renewal

Couldn't find a thread on this and hoping someone can help. Last year I gave a Disney+ subscription to a family for Christmas. I would love to renew it for them but would like to know how I could go about it. The Disney+ gift card is only good for new subscriptions. Anyone found another way to pay for it?
