We are surprising our parents with a family trip to WDW next February. I need help coming up with items to put in a stocking to give them at Christmas. I picked up some Mickey & Tinkerbell Christmas stockings after Christmas this year and want to fill them with items for the big trip.

So far I have...
Ponchos
Park Maps
Lanyard
Pins
Special Tee Shirts
water bottle drink mixes
pens

We are staying at a DVC so we won't need shampoo, coffee, etc Any ideas on what else to include?

Great Job!;) I suspect that's why you aren't getting many posts. I can think of "Disney Dollars", maybe an itinerary of what you plan to do and where you plan to eat. How about copying off some of the disboards resort pix of your resort so they can get a better idea of where they will be staying? All in All...total admiration for you. I would NEVER go on a WDW trip with my inlaws:scared1:

How about moleskin, misters (spray fans), mini umbrellas, antibacterial soap and crocs? You can never go wrong with a good pair of crocs. :)

Great ideas! I forgot about moleskin and antibacterial hand lotion. My MIL has ciliac disease so a list of restaurants will also be good to include.

We will have 3 rooms. Studios for each set of parents and a 1 bedroom for us. I am more than a little worried about all of us going together. I don't plan on spending every day togather though and DH & I are hoping for a night or 2 alone :rolleyes1

I'd throw in one of the Disney Dining guides, maybe order some of the customized maps, and the Disney planning DVD.

THanks again, some more things I forgot! We are doing the photopass. I will be ordering a photo album for each set of parents as a keepsake. We have the planning DVD I never thought about passing that along! Thanks again for the great tips.

what about a hat or visor? sunblock?
Sounds like a fun suprise

If they have digital cameras, how about an extra memory card and batteries? If they have film cameras, maybe a couple rolls of film.

Your list looks great!

I love all these great ideas! Thanks I'll throw in a couple memory cards too!

Bumping this up to see if I can get any more great ideas.

So far we have:
Ponchos
Maps
DISigned Tee Shirt
DISigned Sweatshirt
Lanyard
Water Drink Mixes
Coffee Filters
Coffee
Dining Guide (GF guide for DMIL)
Planning DVD
Laundry Detergent (just the $1 size)
Photo Memory Card (hopefully they will have these cheap closer to Christmas)
Mickey Soaps (I have some left over from an earlier trip)

I don't want to spend more than $50 on each stocking. So far I think I'm in for $24 (not including the memory card)

How about autograph books
Keychain
small toilitries shampoo conditioner lotion etc.
disney ornament
magnet frame

this is so much fun:wizard:

OK Time to bump this thread up again....

Come on people, Get into the spirit & help me out! Any thoughts are welcome.

(*=items I have already)
We are doing PhotoPass & I will do a memory book for each set of parents.
I will probably buy an Disney ornament to attach to the stocking.
I may get some sunblock but probably not (we're going in Feb)

Would you rather...an album or a digital photo frame with the pics?

I think the digital photo frames will be really affordable on Black Friday.

I think you should get yourself a skimpy little princess outfit to wear for your husband one evening while the kids are spending some quality time with their grandparents.

This is such a wonderful thing to do! You have me all excited for you. The only other things I can think of is maybe some little Disney pads of paper or sticky notes and pencils or pens. Maybe not necessary but fun. Now, I want to do this for my daughter and son-in-law for when we take them and their children. Problem is, we plan on taking them in November to kick off the Christmas season next year. I'll have to think about this a little bit!

Great idea! I would throw in some fun small things from Disney like Walmart sell some cute cheap Disney key chains and mini stuffed animals. Plus, you said you would like to spend $50 on Disney stockings so maybe this might not work but like $15 disney dollars??? I hope you have a great time!
