Gift shops sell freeze dried ice cream?

I know M:S has a gift shop that sells this stuff but does anyone else know of any other places around WDW where you can find freeze dried ice cream? I'd like to get some to send to dh who is in Iraq and thought maybe there'd be more variety at the bigger gift shops.

At MGM, I know that they sell it in the gift shop by the exit of Muppet Vision 3D (the one that also carries the Muppets' merchandise)--my son bought it both there, and at MS in EPCOT. DS also tells me that he believes that they have it at the gift shop at the exit from Stitch's Great Escape at the MK too.

If you find youself in a candy shop, you might want to look for it. I think my dd bought some at the candy shop at DTD. It was packaged with Stitch on it, I think.

They used to sell it in the Star Tours store. I can't recall if I saw it there this past trip, though.

Merchants of Venus in Tomorrowland (MK) used to...I believe the last time I went they still had some. Also, Gift Gate (I think that's the name) at Epcot had some.

I know this isn't Disney but you can get it at most camping supply stores. Up here in MN both Gander Mountain and Cabella's (big "outdoor" stores) have it.

Just wanted to let you know our Walmart has it in the camping section.. much cheaper than WDW too.. If you cant find it let me know and I can get some for you and send to you.. Just pm me..

I hope the OP is able to find this ... but what is freeze dried ice-cream.

It's basically ice cream with all of the liquid removed. It is what the astronauts take to space with them. You don't add water to it, you just eat it as is! It's pretty good!

Most of the Candy stores in WDW sell this, Goofy's Candy Company in DTD, the Candy Store in MK, EPCOT's Mouse Ears, MGM's Villian Store, I believe in the main store in AK (sorry forget the name) and also in the store back by Dinosaur.

I love this stuff. I had it as a kid on numerous accounts - Kennedy Space Center and Wright Patterson Airforce Museum. But as an Adult I found it with the camping stuff and realized it's actually a low calorie yummy treat. The entire pack is usually about 100 calories.
