WHAT TYPES OF SOUVINIRS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE SHIP? IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIAL FOR CHILDREN I SHOULD BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR? ANYTHING REALLY UNIQUE PERTAINING TO THE CRUISE? ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!! IS THERE PLUSH DISNEY CHARACTERS DRESSED UP LIKE SAILORS?

There are ALL unique items...Lots of T-SHirts, and such...Dress up gowns in princess stlyes for girls, some dress up for boyes..Photo albums,key chains, pins, magnets...


TONS and tons of plush stuffies...Nice one I remember with Mickey, and such in a plushed boat...Really nice..

Tons more stuff...Jewelry.

Just keep in mind, that if you REALLY love something, buy it, as they often run out, and there is not much worse than thinking of it all week, and not getting it..

There are 2 gift shops. One is mainly kid oriented, the other mainly adult. There are tons of shirts, costumes, and other clothing with ship logos and stuff. THere are plushies of DCL characters in sailor clothes, picture frames, etc. Just tons of stuff. All typically overpriced, of course. At least you don't pay any tax. On Castaway Cay, there are things that are not available anywhere else--shirts, etc.

May you have a better time than we did on Sept. 25, 2004! That was the day the Magic was supposed to depart....but we had a visit from Jeane. If you don't have trip insurance, you might want to consider it.

I don't want to be a party pooper--we've done 5 September cruises, and only one was messed up. That date just hit me.....

We also were on the Sept 25th cruise that got delayed....we actually treated it like an adventure and got to ride out hurricane Jeanne in the Poly resort at WDW...that was exciting!!!

I would book again in a heartbeat during hurricane season as long as I had my insurance!!!
