I'm not sure this is the right place for this but here goes...

My brother just returned from the World. While he was there he purchased a Mickey Light Saber for my son's bday. He was SOOOO excited and couldn't wait to play with it. You can't imagine the look on his face when we put the batteries in and nothing!:scared1: No lights or sounds (i'm pretty sure its supposed to do both).

Is there anything we can do? My brother kept the receipt, so I'm wondering if I can return it when we're there in August or possibly ship it somewhere for a replacement. Anyone else ever have an issue with something but didn't notice until you were home? :confused3

Call Disney World Merchandising at 1-407-363-6200.
They can be very helpful.

i will agree with robo on this one...disney really does stand behind their product. our first trip we went on together, i bought one of those charm bracelets that were in back in 2003. within 2 days the stones fell out of mickeys head. i returned it with receipt. the day we left i noticed it gone again. the following year on our trip i went in with receipt in hand and once again they exchanged it after i explained the situation to them. sadly once again it came apart...however i didnt know they had a number to call.

i must note that number, as i believe something we bought in october fell apart rite after we got back...now to just remember what it was! lol

Two instances:

1. My daughter bought a mug for my husband and dropped and broke it. I went into ANOTHER store to ask what we could do. Didn't even have the broken mug with us and the CM let her get a new one.

2. Bought a spinning Minnie light from one of the carts in the park in February. It broke and I glued it multiple times. We went back in April and they gave us a new one without question.

So, IMO, they are great! Good luck!!!

as i call it.they are very helpfull and do what they can to fix any problem.the # should be on the receipt.have used them several times to replace idems and to find things in the parks.

your post reminded me- dd had a cindy spinner at F! in october. had it five minutes, yep dropped it...stopped working. the cm's gladly exchanged it.

Have you tried other batteries? I hope that you have no problems getting one that works.
