I have just noticed that Disney has the Gift of Magic going on for a few months. Does anyone have any idea what the crowd level would be the first week of February? I was online pricing resorts and noticed that most of the Value Resorts are sold out for most of the dates we are looking at.
We are not staying at a Value but since so many are sold out it made me wonder what kind of crowd level we should expect.

We are hoping to do a split stay and have never done that before. I know Coronado is under referb. but we thought we would like to try it and also Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Hoping to get a little advice here.

Thank you

First week of Feb is a generally lower crowd time overall, but it is a big tour group time which can fill up the values. That could be why you’re seeing no availability.

Personally I’d love to be there that week, generally speaking.

Thank you so much. We are looking at 1/29-2/3. Found that the Values had availability during this time. Originally when I was looking at dates, it was during February 7th.
We typically like to do Disney the end of November but then I noticed Disney has the Gift of Magic going on so thought we might just take advantage of it.

We were there Feb 1-9 this year and it was great. The weather was fantastic, not a single drop of rain during daylight hours when we were there. We have never experienced that before. I'd say the crowds overall during that stay were maybe a 6/10, but MK seemed like it was always pretty bustling. Nothing unmanageable. In fact, the Saturday of that stay I took my 10 month old daughter to MK by myself for the afternoon and had a great time. We stayed at WL and the boat transportation was absolutely perfect in that weather. It was a wonderful time to go.

Thank you. We always like to go when crowd levels are low. We are in no hurry anyway but I hate long lines, LOL!!!

Just as an FYI, resort occupancy has very little affect on park attendance.
