My SIL is my Disney soul mate. She checks in for CP on August 1. I want to get her a gift that will be special, but I'm coming up blank. Any and all ideas would be appreciated!

Honestly what I really want someone to do for me is to take the time to get pictures on a file, go to walmart, and print them for me. Its such a boring task but I know I will be homesick and want them for the cork board everyone gets in their room! Plus, since I am flying pictures will be easy to pack. So maybe some pictures of good memories, or even a collage.
Also, I read some where that gift cards are a really good idea. I know they aren't very personal but having a meal paid for, or being able to get extra things for the room with out having to use my own money would be awesome haha
Or! Not sure about your budget for the present, but if you could visit her during the program I bet that would be the best gift of all so you could experience Disney together for a few days.

Did the CP last year and I DEFINITELY second this!!!!!!! I was lucky enough to have 3 absolutely wonderful roommates who helped me through some difficult times at the start of my program, but still, having pictures of home made me feel a little less alone.

Gift Cards too are much appreciated!!! I know that through Disney's website you can even custom order ones w/ characters or photos on them. When you're working a boat load of hours in a week, a meal at the parks on a much needed day off is much appreciated, believe me!!!! I graduated college about 3 weeks before I left for the CP and a lot of people gave me Disney gift cards knowing that's where I was going and it makes it a lot easier turning over a gift card to pay for your $10-$15 QS meal in the parks than turning over your credit/debit card, knowing that you would have to work about 2hrs solely to pay for that!!!

Another idea is one of the Disney Vera Bradley hipster bags. I swear by that style for my in-park bag. It's comfortable, durable, washable and holds a ton! Plus the Disney ones are really cute!!!

Good luck!!!! Whatever you choose, I'm sure she'll love it! It was hard saying goodbye before I left but it was by far the best experience ever and having a little piece of 'home' and the thought that someone is thinking about you goes a long way!!!
