I need to buy a present for an Italian friend. This is for Christmas and I already bought his wife something, I just need to get something for him. I would like to spend about $25.00.

Thanks!

Something very American. Because if I had an Italian friend here I would love something from Italy. Maybe some special food item that you can't get in Italy. I don't know maybe something sweet.

I was thinking this as well, but couldn't think of something truly american.

Wine and chocolate wouldn't work because this is wine and chocolate country. I don't think a book would work either because he is not fluent in english and I wouldn't even know what kind of book to get.

He is in his early 30's and an officer in the Italian Army and loves soccer with the Rome team being his favorite. Anyone else have any ideas?

Does he like to travel? How about a travel book of photos across America? I love reading travel books.

That's not a bad idea Doc..................guys are so hard to buy for I find.....

Even a book on American National Parks or something or what about a poster for his wall of one of the National Parks or something truly American.
