I need your help! Does anyone have any great suggestions for a Christmas gift for a 2 year old? I need help shopping for my niece!:confused3

Thank you in advance for any ideas/suggestions!!:goodvibes

Don't know your budget, but here are some ideas:

* Little Tikes shopping cart or baby buggy...Amazon may have w/free ship

* baby doll

* Gift Card to Build a Bear...especially nice if you are mailing...that way all the $$ can go to the gift and not shipping!!

* Easel w/chalk and white board and clip for holding paper

* Little People sets

How about the Snap N Style dolls? I got these for my 2 yo.

Oh! I have one of those! Right now, she's into crayons/coloring, blocks, playing with her tea set, and play food. Oh, and dress up, she loves jewelry/hats/shoes. I don't know if you're adverse to kids watching TV, but there are some really cute Sesame Street DVDs. You Gabba Gabba is also a BIG hit with 2 year olds, she loves her talking Brobee. Yep it looks weird, but its a cool show.

Oddly, my DD just isnt into dolls. She'll pick up her doll, feed it a bottle, then drop it on the ground... LOL.

Books are always appreciated as are gift cards to the book store. Art supplies and paper are a plus too.

Crayola has a new musical singing pad out there called color me a song. The faster they scribble on the paper the faster the music. It looks really cute and has been on sale a lot this season.

Snap n Style dolls are cute too.

My daughter is in to pushing and pulling things also. She loves to take her babies for rides or build a stack of blocks then pulls them around on the FP wagon that came with it then knock it down and laugh.

She loves to make everyone tea. FP has some very cute tea sets that sing and change colors.

Hope these help good luck:wizard:

When DD was 2, she received an umbrella stroller for her baby. She walked miles and miles w/ that thing. We took it w/ us to my parents that year for Christmas. DD would take ornaments off the tree and hang them on her stroller. We laughed so hard as visions of fuzzy dice ran through our minds! By the time she was 3 she was on her 3rd stroller. She still gets it out sometimes.

My 2 DD are teenagers now but when they were 2 they loved the play kitchen. I think ours was a Fisher Price. They also like the play food/groceries, cooking pots and a shopping cart.

We had a Fisher Price tea set that they played with for years. I saw it at Kohl's and was tempted to buy it as a fun/gag gift.

They also played Magna Doodle alot. So much we went through 3 of them.
I think it says ages 4 on the package but I bought one for a neighbors 2 year old and the mother told me she enjoys it.

How cute! I forgot about those. A $10 stroller was played with more then any of the expensive toys they received.

My daughter also loves her doll stroller. She also loves Melissa & Doug wooden food like the cookies, stir-fry, and sushi set.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! Can anyone tell me where to get the Snap and Style dolls? I did a serach and saw them on the Fisher Price web site, but wasn't sure if they were available at retail stores or not...:confused:

Thanks again for your help!

Toys R Us has them, as does Walmart. There are dolls, babies, and even dogs... :rotfl: My 2 1/2 year old DD has one and is getting more for Christmas. They have extra outfits you can purchase as well. I got some at Toys R Us about a month ago for "Buy 2 Get the 3rd Free"--that's the best deal I have been able to find on them!

My 2 1/2 yr old niece loves to play dress up. We found Disney dress up trunks at Walmart for $19. They have a Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora (I think) dress, 1 pair of shoes, crowns, jewelry. b

If she is a girly girl (I say this becasue my eldest was not...but my 2 1/2 is)...

Dress up clothes & accessories, play doh sets like the Ice Cream Shoppe or Burger Shop, furreal pets, dolls, My Little Ponies, art stuff like markers, crayons & watercolor paints. Legos (quattro or duplo for that age) or megablocks.

My DD asked for a dolly and a doll bed for Christmas.

She loves her doll stroller, puzzles, books, play food & craft stuff.
Her newest infatuation is having a backpack. We got her a Dis Princess one, it can be worn or rolled on its wheels. Not amazing quality but Target has them for less than $15.
