Gift idea for 5 year old nephew?

I am having a hard time. I don't know what to get my nephew. I have an 8 year old ds but he never really played with toys, was/is more into video games and computers.

So, any ideas? Are there any cute book series out there for boys this age besides Magic Tree House-we've already given him our collection.

Any toys/game ideas? I know he's not into Legos.

Budget would be around $30.

I got my 5 year old nephew a personalized book. My Dh has some from when he was a child and the kids love seeing his name in it so I thought it would be a fun, different gift.

My DS is 5 1/2. He asked for Hex bugs, Criss Cross Crash (some car set), the Zhu Zhu pet thing where the hamsters wear armor and battle (no idea what it's called), the Headbandz Game, remote control anything. He had lots of other things but they were mostly Legos and pricey things.

Oh, forgot to add, he really like Playmobil stuff - pirate sets, skateboard sets, anything. And he still likes Imaginext toys (pirate ship, batman cave, etc.)

Oh, and since it's the Disney board I have to tell you my favorite. Way back in September before he was better at writing and spelling he drew me a Christmas list. I had to ask what some of the things were. I pointed to one and he said he wanted Mickey confetti! They don't normally just give it out or sell it, but when I went on a girls trip in October I was able to find a nice CM at Town Hall who got me a tiny bit of it in a bag.

We have the skeleton, cobra, and shark. My boys wear them all the time. Beware that the sizes run small; they are long and narrow. My small DS7.5 wears a 10 and small DS9 wears a 12. I wish there were more that would be cute for girls.

Walmart and Target have cute bathtub sets....like Spiderman, etc.

They come with bubbles, pretend shaving, etc. That along with matching jammies is a cute gift. I know my kids would have loved that type of thing.

We got our almost 5 year old nephew a piece to his Imaginext Batman deal and a Color Changer Hot Wheels car. He is also very into the Beyblade Brawlers (as is our 6 year old nephew and 9 year old DS). They are all also into the Mighty Beans.
